We... We have a weird relationship with Apes in our culture, don't we?

I'll be Rangerpuss with my trusty sidekick Sawyerberry Hound.

What's your catchphrase? I like to always introduce myself as "The High Priest of Bootytown."
Does that phrase actually work with the ladies? Lol, it wouldn't do anything for me. :p

So today I bought a 12-pack of Coca-Cola cans. Opened the first one and it was flat! There was a little fizz but not much. Threw it out and opened another and it was flat too. This has never happened before. What causes it? The expiration date is Feb 22, 2016.

Blame the monkeys.

Well, let's just say I have like 50 unopened boxes of embossed business cards with that title under my name that will never be used. :csad:

I was hanging with some filmmaker friends tonight and we started talking a friend who recently got a job with Paramount Pictures. According to him, one thing you have to do to make it in Hollywood is to keep quite about your political, religious and so forth. You don't want to isolate anyone and some in Hollywood will judge and discriminate against you if they find out you have certain views. As an aspiring television and film professional, this is kinda discouraging. Most people who worked with me or know me in real life, know I can get along with anyone regardless of their views as long as they show me respect.

But the way my friends out it is almost as if you have to sell your soul or abandon what you stand for to make it in Hollywood. It's a dream of mine to work in the media industry and tell awesome stories that entertain, and inspire other people. But if I gotta "sell out" to make it, it simply isn't worth it in my eyes. This is a random question, but how far would you all go to pursue a dream? Would you give up what you believe or stand for in order to reach those dreams or no. How would you handle it?

Heat can do that. Even to cans, if they're exposed long enough.

Maybeit was stored somewhere before you bought it where it got really hot then cold. That might do it, not being stored properly when it got shipped.

Meh... Sorry to rain on anyone's parade but no matter what beliefs you have, or what job you do, 99.9% of us in this world actually learn something the opposite of what stories since the beginning of time that are popular have told us, hopefully before we've all turned 21: Life IS compromise. Sorry if that's not inspiring, romantic or viscerally exciting. Sorry if it's blunt, or "cynical". It the truth.

I couldn't do it for any amount of money. I would hate myself too much. It isn't worth it. :(

Eh, I don't generally talk politics or religion with my co-workers anyway, unless they become my really good friends, so this wouldn't really be "selling out" to me. Doesn't seem like such a sacrifice to talk about other stuff at work, imo, as it's not like you'd have to actually alter your beliefs or principles. Now if you want to use the medium as a soapbox, then yeah, I could see how that would be a problem.

Agreed. Why would you profess your political beliefs at work all the time? That would just be annoying.

On another note, I feel I am the best DJ in the south east.

Dubside of the Moon. that is all.
