No, I'll take Night's King icing the whole joint. He's the only non morally repugnant military leader.

Yeah, compared to everyone else, the White Walkers seem like pretty decent chaps.

What's your favorite Python Sketch?

Toss up between these two. Not that I want to make it like I am a huge Python-head or anything. My dad actually really liked them and Grail and Brian.

Tell me, Lord kindaVicious... do you know of charcoal? it burns... it turns greyscale.... then cease to exist.

There is a couple of things I wanted to get off my chest that is kinda bugging me and killing my enjoyment of this site. First, of I want to say I do still like geeking out about comic books, video games and the like with most of you all. Secondly, what follows are just my personal opinions and things that are nagging at me. I don't mean for it to be a knock against this site or mods or users, so I hope no one takes it personal or calls for my ban or anything.

Okay, I been a member of SHH for a long while now and I noticed things over the years that bugged me a lot. For example, I noticed that some users get a lot of freedom to do and say what they like here , make ridiculous threads, without to much consequences. It seems if your popular among the community and friends with some mods they are more forgiving of things. But other users don't get the same treatment and if they are so lucky, get insta bans or infractions. Also, in the community forums if you don't share the popular opinion among the community on social issues and the like, you will be targeted for ban or users will shun you, or take shots at you etc. I am not talking about really offensive comments either, but simply disagreeing with popular opinion on issues and giving your reasons will still get you targeted. Basically, it seems like the site is one sided at times and it seems that the more popular you are, the more freedom you have here. The less popular the more you have to walk on egg shells and be wary of what you say.

Also, I noticed things can even get heated on the movie discussion boards with people trolling and bashing others for having different opinons. This also leads to riddiclious arugements and sadly bans. Sometimes it's two people with two different strong opinons with well thought out reasons why they aren't down for the movie, it still sometimes gets interpreted as trolling or insults. Again, this is all just my personal observations and concerns. Again, I still like this site and I am NOT trying to take shots at any mods or users.

Some opinions are unpopular for a reason. If you say something stupid (even though in your eyes, it's not stupid) people will call you out.

It's like a large majority of the SHH agree on some social issue that's going but others who have different opinons are targeted or called for bans an the like, even if it's not offensive at all. It's just that the coummunity didn't like their opinon. This happen to a user I knew pretty well here like a year ago. The events surrounding their ban was really shady. But from what I saw, they weren't mean spirited or anything ( I think it was a decusion on sex or something). I do know several users ( who are pretty popular) made fun of their views and when he responded he got the ban. Maybe he went nuts or something but I just thought it was kinda messed up and I noticed this kinda thing for a while, with users that are popular with the community and mods can get away with a little bit more than others. Again, I am not trying to disrespect the mods or users here this is just my personal observations. There could be things I am unaware of in certain situations.

ShadowBoxer, you and I share some of those unpopular opinions. It's cool.

Just gotta be IN the world but not OF it, brother, and to love others as you love yourself. It's not our place to judge, but to put ourselves out there and let our actions have the effect. Those are the words that I live by.

I am not even talking about that specifically. I am talking about other stuff too. And from what I observed to be favoritism around here.

I don't pay attention to favoritism, and neither should you dude. Just vibe with it and give Clippy ****. It's fun. :hehe:

Well to be fair a lot of popular posters are now banned. Mostly because they could care less about being PG.
I mean you don't get popular on SHH by maintaining a PG personality for several years and confess your love for Full House.

Look at DarkSentinal for example. I could be wrong. But it seems like he maintains his popularity by using these stars when ever he posts-> ****

Not sure what those stars mean. But I've noticed the coolest posters seem to utilize them when ever they want. Especially when talking to me... :yay:

so they must work

Another day, another dollar, on a Monday.

I highly recommend this book for the not cool posters on the Hype. Even though it's for third graders, the life lessons in each chapter actually transcend to the young adult age range. There are some fascinating pointers you can actually incorporate into your online persona when posting on SHH.
