Eh... I think that mainstream movie making still churns out the stuff it always has. And let's remember how the audience has reacted to so called "original" films in recent memory. They just don't show up to the numbers they do to things that might be called "derivative" or for re-makes/re-boots. For myself, I just can't get too precious about these things anymore at my age (which I am guessing is around your age Duke). It's easier on my heart to just not give too much a damn about re-makes, especially since by any standards there are more outlets and opportunities for film makers and story tellers than ever before. And like I always like to point out... Ben-Hur, The Maltese Falcon, El Dorado... All remakes.
Sorry Krypton, but we must agree to disagree on this one.
Oh ****. I'm really sorry man.
For a moment I thought; 'stronger immunity, what's bad about that?"My mom has lupus. It's one hell of a disease, basically the opposite of AIDS
Screw it...she basically doesn't want to talk to me anymore so that's how I'm gonna treat it. Shoulda known, every sign pointed to it being a one-night thing with a next-day "thank you"...I'm just gonna go forward knowing that I'm not going to find someone and leave it at that.
Whatever.

Yup. Remakes, reboots, sequels, shared universes, they've all been around for 100 years. Back in the 70s and 80s, Jaws got THREE sequels that are almost universally regarded as trash. It's not a new development.

Longer than that. The Aeneid is a spin-off/sequel of the Iliad.Humans have been sequelizing and spinning off of stories as long as we've been telling stories.
This tells me 2 things:
1) You didn't like her(Not really, really like her) but you just wanted someone so you don't get lonely or something.
2) When the day comes that you really do like a girl and she's like this (Playing hard to get) you'll just quit and throw yourself a pity party.
1) I did and I do.
2) Playing "hard to get" is childish and asinine and I have no time for it. If you like me, then just LIKE me. I hate that there all these hoops that have to be jumped through; I would never do that to a woman so I'd like that to be reciprocated in kind.
People who don't like Kindergarten Cop are bad people, mmkay.
