The only time I cry is when I eat ridiculously spicy food.

Oh, and when I watch Twilight.

I miss Steak and Shake. We don't have those in DC.

Is this a regional thing because I have never heard of this establishment and I live in New York.

P.S. My mom and my nephew would love that place. They are carnivores.

It was all over the place when I was living in the South. Alabama, Georgia, etc. Whenever I was on a road trip down there, I could always count on a Steak and Shake to be just a few exits away, lol.

They have them here in Florida. one of the first places we went to when we moved down here. It's pretty good, though they need to make their fries bigger...and most of the rest of the menu bigger.

I live in the South but have never eaten at a steak and shake. I think we were supposed to be getting one near me, but y'all know how that **** goes. I was also told we were getting another Cookout a minute from my place of employment. That was two years ago and there is still no new cookout anywhere near where I work.:argh:

I'm pretty damn sure Pennsylvania is without this thing. It sounds awful. I just keep envisioning a meat milkshake. :down

Wait, no, actually... :up::up::up:

I've dipped a dill pickle in a vanilla milkshake, but never steak.

Feel rested and awake this morning. Was not expecting that. As far as Steak and Shake goes I think they are a southern chain. Known for steak burgers. They have a $4 menu that is pretty decent and I love this pepper sauce they have for the fries

In-N-Out Burger, ShakeShack, Five Guys, Culver's, Sonic, in that order.... That is all. All other burger chains don't even deserve listing. :o

You're up early triple J. We just got a Culvers over here in Clearwater, I do have to agree it's a damn good burger

Bumping some twerk this morning to get into an amped up money making mood. Now that I can make $200 a day easy things are looking up for the Kidd

I always figured Steak And Shake refers to the convulsions one experiences from eating nothing but grilled beef.

OK. I want opinions from you guys. I'm thinking of acquiring the newly released Batman 1966 tv series on blu ray. The small issue I'm having trouble deciding on is that their are 2 versions of it. One packaged version has the bluray boxset, an episode guide, a small book by Adam West, & of course the Hot Wheels Batmobile (box is a bit cumbersome, BTW). The other version just has all three seasons of the blurays, that's it, no extras.

I like to display my dvds & blurays alphabetically & I like uniformity in displaying them all. If I bought the big set, (& it sure looks nice & awesome) it be a little odd displaying it, whereas the other, plain jane, would display better. Difficult choices ahead. :csad:

It depends how badly you want all that extra stuff. If you really want all the extra stuff, odds are you are a huge Batman fan, and having this thing on your shelf as a small shrine to the caped crusader is not a bad thing.

That stated, if you're big on uniformity, what I do is I have an entire box full of empty multi-DVD cases at home, that I use to create my own "box sets" in order to save space on my shelf. I group similar movies together (i.e. one set has Kill Bill 1 and 2, Oldboy, Run Lola Run, Dark City and a few others in it) and I design and print out my own custom DVD cover for the box collaging images from these movies. I am not concerned about uniformity, but it does help achieve that in some respect.

For your Batman DVD set, if you can get your hands on empty multi-DVD boxes, you can do the same, with the added benefit that your "custom" cover can just be a simple scan of the existing one. That way, you can get all the gewgaws separately, but store the actual blu-rays in a more normal way.

Ghost Dad is the best movie ever! :o
