I gotta admit, I am watching it for my second time on HBO (sort of, flipping during commericals on the Steelers game)...and it grows on you upon second viewing. Its not as bad as initially thought.

I liked it from the beginning...I really dont see what everyone hates about it...everyone but Doom was totally in character, and the reason he wasnt was because he wasnt really Doom till the last 10 minutes of the movie...

i liked it too, just like with the Elektra movie. (which is one of my favorite superhero movies)

I dont hate Elektra, but it was severely lacking in all things actually related to the comic book. And what they did to Typhoid Mary is unforgiveable :o

I don't quite get all the "The four were so out of character"

Even people I know who hate the movie basically say "the four were pretty spot on"

In regards to Doom. He was basically Victor in Doom's mask.

I didnt think any of the four were out of character, i just personally thought FF was a poor movie.

I enjoyed it enough, as it was a fun movie. And it had a real emotional core in Ben Grimm. Sure, they got Doom wrong. Sure, Alba was a little flat as Sue Storm. But overall, the movie wasn't that far off-base.

"Fantastic Four" at its heart is a corny book, and it felt more correct than wrong to me.
