Which is exactly where he should be.
As proven by the Nolan trilogy, he can write some awesome stories, just needs help turning them into good words, Terrio to BvS is like Jonathan Nolan to TDKT.
Which is exactly where he should be.
From what I've heard, Goyer will probably retain a story credit. But the script itself was basically a page 1 re-write for Terrio. And because of the re-write being so significant, it was the main force behind the initial release date change.
His ideas are usually great, but he needs a Chris or Jonathan Nolan for his scripts. And even then the dialogue is filled with heavy exposition, the characters dont develop unless Lucius or Alfred hit them over the head with exposition, etc.I know I'm alone but that's a little discouraging to me. On the up side, Terrio is the only thing that gives me any pessimism about the film. mainly because I feel he's untried in the genre and I like Goyer's stuff . Especially his ideas
I do worry though that Terrio might write the movie to be Bat centric to favour Affleck.
Well batman is WB's big money maker, so it would make since.
Can't believe that this is coming from me of all people,lol...but at the end of the day, Snyder is the one that will ultimately decide on which character gets to do what in this story, let alone on how much focus that given character will get so even if Chris is pro Batman, he has to write a script that fits within Snyder's story outline.
I really doubt Snyders Clout in this movie. The Studio seems very hands on with this movie. They are the ones with ultimate say.If they and terrio want a Bat fest prepare for a Batfest-Snyder or no Snyder
The recent comments from Harry lennix dont help my concerns about this being a Batfest.
Which I don't mind.
*sips tea*

1. Snyder is the one that came up with the story alongside Goyer. Terrio was just brought on board to make a tight script based from that story outline.
2. I don't know; it seems like the studio has really given free reigns to Snyder on this project. The fact of the matter is, if they didn't trust him with this project then they wouldn't have signed him up for JL as well.
3. As others have probably said, I think Lennix...and anyone who has used "TDKR" references are referring more about on how Ben's Batman will be like as opposed the actual outcome and characterization of Superman.
I am by no means a Goyer hater, but I admit this comforts meIn the Today interview, Affleck refers to Chris Terrio again in regards to BvS.
1. Terrio is the one in charge of the story now and thats my piont. He cold write the story to favour Batman
2.The inclusion of WW,Cyborg smells of Studio mandates.Yes the Studio is being hands on with this movie.Whether thats good news(MCU)or bad news(Green lantern) remains to be seen
3.I certainly hope so
A result like ASM2 would be a valid concern in this regard. Especially when someone like Garfield, who had intimate involvement with the production from the beginning, basically implied a lot got cut out earlier on in favor of 'setting up' a Spidey cinematic universe.Studio wants a cohesive DC Universe so it makes sense that they will have some say in this movie project, how do you guys think Marvel studios handle their movies ? Do they give 100 % freedom to their directors ?
I think that WB has given the task of making a DC universe to Geoff Johns, Zack Snyder and David Goyer (all are Executive producers, Goyer and Snyder have story credits for BvS, Geoff Johns is also DC' creative head) so these three will interfere with Terrio's screenplay to some extent.
Is that a bad thing ?

Terrio is in charge of the story. This isnt even debatable at this piont.Hes the writer.Hes the one thats being praised for the script, not Snyder, not Goyer,Terrio. You're kind of overstating Terrio's power in all this. He's writing the story, sure, but he's not in charge of it. Whatever he wrote is based on whatever direction Snyder has chosen to go.
I also don't think there's any proof the studio has interfered whatsoever. I'm sure in whatever discussions they had, they expressed a desire to expand the DCCU, but that seems like the kinda thing Snyder would be totally on board for and is also totally normal for any major studio.
Studio interfering can be for good and bad.Im worried about it turning bad b/c of missteps made by those involved in the past. And whilst Terrio will very likely increase the quality of the script,I worry about Batbias.Studio wants a cohesive DC Universe so it makes sense that they will have some say in this movie project, how do you guys think Marvel studios handle their movies ?
