Comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Part 2

I've been a little disappointed in this season so far. The episodes haven't been bad, but they've lacked energy that previous seasons had. Dee Made a Smut Film had a few OK moments (Charlie and Frank's impersonations), and The Gang Hits the Slopes was fun, but overall I've had a general "meh" feeling about this season's episodes.

I think tonight's episode is the funniest of the season. Mostly because of the virtuoso performance of @GlennHowerton

Well, Rob might be right. This episode was glorious.

"Newsflash, a**hole! I've been hearing it the entire goddamn time!"

"They why wouldn't you say something?!"

"BECAUSE I HATE YOU!!!"

I loved the whole Shining homage throughout the episode. So, was the nosy neighbor real, or was Dennis hallucinating him?

Dennis was hallucinating that outburst at the end, but the neighbor was real because of the scene in the beginning where the neighbor first introduced himself to Mac and Dennis.

"Dee, I will slap you in the teeth."

Great episode.

Seize the gap, goddammit!

I thought it was funny how they're so used to living in apartments, that they didn't know to set up their trash. :hehe:

This season has been so much better than the last one. Another really great ep..

Suburbs episode was really great.

THe suburbs episode was the best so far this season. Fantastic work.

Dee Makes a Smut Film was ok and the Ski episode was kinda eh to me (the sex scene was hilarious to me though. Just Charlie Day's facial expressions alone)

The suburbs episode was amazing! Glenn Howerton turned in a terrific performance. Weird to think that he almost played Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy. I wonder how that would have been. :hmm

Funny thing about that, the way Star Lord was played in the movie I think Rob Mcelhenney wouldve been a great Quill. It wouldve been really interesting to she Howerton though.

Haha, I never thought about McElhenney as Quill, but it is a funny thought. I can see how he would've been similar to Pratt. It would've been quite different to see Howerton as Quill. I think he would have nailed it. And James Gunn is apparently a fan of It's Always Sunny.

I honestly wouldnt mind episodes told in first person POV from all the characters

I got a good laugh from Frank just randomly popping the girl's balloon.

I wasn't a fan of this episode. I did like seeing some of the side characters again. Pondy!

That was the first time Artemis has been on the show in a while.

When it first started, I kinda rolled my eyes at the concept for it, but after about 2-3 min in, I was laughing at a lot of the jokes. I liked it a lot.

I'm just waiting for the lawyer to make a comeback. His last appearance was the Pop-pop episode.
