Batman #656, written by Morrison with art by Andy Kubert. “Batman and Son” tells the story of an uncomfortable meeting between Robin and Batman’s newfound son.

sighs.. :(

Boo! Holy bad ideas Batman! It was a neat out of continuity story, but this is...ugh.

Doesn't sound too interesting. I'll read it because it's Morrison and Kubert, but I have a feeling their first Batman arc may be my last.

Guess that means that "Son Of a Demon"(not sure if that the title) is in continuity now.

Is this the same son that was born to Talia in a story that's basically fallen out of continuity, or are we getting Connor Hawked?

It's suposed to be Talia's kid from Son of the Demon.

You know, theres a reason why Son of the Deomn was out of continuity. Why does Morrison always have to do this? Hes a great writer but he always comes on a maninstream title and make some really dumb changes and such. It works out sometimes but hes a really divisive writer when it comes to the mainstream.

I'm hoping it's some plot or something and the kid isn't really his, but we'll have to wait and see I guess.

Now that this is pretty much settled, will DC now answer the question if Batman has a daughter?

Helena? Nah, I doubt theyll give him two kids, its probably Slam's.

I wouldnt be surprised if in a few years, they make his "son" a fake.

since this is from andy kubert that dude with the sword might be his son

i also think that dc wanted to kill off nightwing to make room for bats new son. i swear if he becomes another bat person, i might drop this book altogether.

Does that look pretty rough to anyone else, compared to his past work?

When does Morrison's exclusive contract with DC run out?

Yeah, it does. Robin looks especially weird. I think it's mostly because Kubert's got a very active style and that image features Batman and Robin basically standing there, doing nothing. Ibn (if the kid is him, since I thought the other guy in the Batman suit in the preview was supposed to be Ibn) looks great, though.

i think the guy in the batsuit is suppose to be jason todd. i guess.

wasnt that book called son of the bat?

Who'd Batman bone thats asian? Kid looks asian.

wow, people arent even giving this story a chance, eh? grant morrison is one of the greatest modern combic book scribes....i'd be extremely surprised if this story was anything BUT bad ass! how about we wait and see how it plays out rather than condeming it without reason?

ignore him, he's ha dthe same avvy for 3 years, his opinions dont matter :p
