It's the little things in life

So let's forget the big picture of whether you believe in God, or are voting for Obama, or whether the Reptilians are going to kill and eat us in 2012. Let's focus on... the little things.

What tiny, sorta insignificant things bring you joy throughout the day? What's one of those perhaps less talked about things that cheers you up?

But let's try to keep this interesting. None of that "A cool breeze on a warm summer's day..." crap, 'kay? 'kay. Deal.

To start us off:

-that nostalgic feeling I get when I watch cartoons from when I was little, or read Calvin and Hobbes

-pumping gas and getting it exactly on the dollar so that I don't have to get a penny from my cupholder

-Narrowly making it through a yellow light before it turns red

-Walking behind an attractive female in the mall

- Listening to music I enjoy, namely Sinatra or Billy Joel these days.
- Being able to take a nap.
- Getting the opportunity to watch a film of my youth that I have not seen in ages.
- Any quiet moment of solitude when I can pray or sleep.
- A nice shower.
- Seeing a beautiful woman.
