do you guys have your ORAS teams planned out yet?

you guys gonna transfer over bred mons from X/Y to use in ORAS, or just gonna wing it with wild pokemon and the starters in ORAS?

The most fun I had in Pokemon was letting my team develop on its own.

I plan on using Swampert, Altaria, and Ninetails as I did in Ruby. My other 3 were Raichu, Alakazam, and Aggron, but I plan on using others instead.

yes apparently there will be unrevealed megas in the game (just like with X and Y)

Got Omega Ruby paid in full. Girlfriend got Alpha Sapphire. Very excited. The demo impressed me. The Pokemon models look better than they did in X&Y

its unclear still, there are sources saying there are more mega's, which would make sense as they kept some secret in X and Y. I guess only time can tell

Oh yes. Gonna start hunting moon stones today so I can have them ready for when the time comes.

Also noticed in the demo that when you battle, the area around you better resembles wherever it is you are when the battle starts.

ah yes, the moonstones, quite a pain to track those down. I ended up having to get them from the games on the global link, good thing I had 11,000 pokemiles saved up :P

agreed the battle areas look a lot better and looks like there are more of them than in X and Y cant freakin wait to get my hands on these games, gonna leave work at 2pm friday instead of 4:30 so I can play lmao

Right there with you. Of course, i've got Smash coming out the same day, so I'm definitely not sleeping a wink.

On an unrelated note, they should give a Mega Evolution to Girafarig. Always liked that Pokemon, but he was never really worth using.

mega girafarig would be awesome lol it looks like its confirmed there will actually not be anymore megas less than X&Y what the hell? also no battle frontier either

I like Mega's when they enhance an otherwise not so great Pokemon. When Legendaries, and Psuedo-Legendaries get them, I just don't care. Mega Garchomp is garbage, for example. Whereas, a Mega Banette gives that Pokemon a new lease on life. I'd prefer they used Mega Evolutions to give underrated Pokemon a chance in the sun.

yeah I can agree with that for sure, I also like it when they give weaker mons a mega evolution so they can finally be used, for example beedrill, im actually excited to use beedrill for the first time in my life! but making already awesome pokemon insanely stronger and potentially broken *cough* mega salamence w/ aerilate *cough* that doesnt really make sense to me...but this is gamefreak afterall, they dont do much that makes sense lol

it doesnt really matter, just depends on which pokemon he likes more. In omega ruby you face team magma, and in alpha sapphire you face team aqua, besides that the only differences are exclusive pokemon

ruby has groudon, latios, mawile, zangoose, ho-oh, dialga, reshiram
sapphire has kyogre, latias, sableye, seviper, lugia, palkia, zekrom

im probably missing some on the list above, but its mainly just different villain teams, some different mons, and some different legendaries, thats about it
