I just watched the Bootleg Trailer for Super 8 trailer and I got serious chills while watching it!

Its like Cloverfield all over again, but its not! It's another mystery we have to wait a year in advance for.

I don't know, It just was like oh s**t its going down! Then it hits you and you'll like damn I gotta wait a year to see this!

i think the best way to approach this monster or alien story is to focus on the characters. and when was the last time some young kids were in the middle of something like this?

you film some fan footage for yourself and then you notice or come in the middle of an monster or alien hunt. i really like that they will be young kids.


of course i expect that 99% on the internet will focus only on the aline-monster character. who he is ,how he looks and what hes backstory is.

i personal wouldnt even mind if through the whole movie we dont get a close up of the alien-monster. i will have low expectations. JJ is also smart in doing this under 100 millions. the way to go.

While i am sure this movie will be awesome, I just didn't get that weird "wtf" feeling as i did when i watched the Cloverfield trailer.
