Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

there was a great investigative side to the reacher character that set him apart from ethan hunt. just give me more of that and i'll be happy.

Looks fun. Wouldn't be surprised if Cobie Smulders turns out to be bad.

There will probably still be that, but in the trailer they have to show the action.

Right. I love the action too, dont get me wrong, my most anticipated film is the next Mission impossible.

Yeah. It was very low key with just Cruise and Rosamund Pike just investigating in her office in one scene

Haha, we don't even know when that's gonna come out. So for the next year, you're gonna not look forward to anything else?

there's plenty of good things. But I consider Rogue Nation was brilliant, and i look forward to brilliance.

Will have to watch the first one again soon to prepare for this.

I didn't really like the first. With that said, this one looks awesome and a billion steps up. Can't wait! I'd imagine there are many others who weren't won over with the first but won back by the marketing campaign for this new one.

The first was generally well liked.

Yes it was. Aside from the initial backlash from the hardcore Reacher fans in regards to Cruise playing a 6’5 character from the great books, the movie is generally well received.

I never said it wasn't, I said that I didn't think it was good and that those in the same boat will probably give the series a second chance. The first just felt too pedestrian to me, low scale whereas this seems like a bigger and more complex story. Like the first allowed them to go all out with this one. Which will, as said, inspire those who didn't like the first to give it another shot because it seems, at least to me, that the issues I had with the first were fixed and handled brilliantly. At least going off the marketing which hopefully holds true.
