James Bond 24 - Part 3

Yes, and I thought it was great. We didn't used to be able to say so during the ChickenScratch terror, however.

Well, that just shows how incredibly ignorant all of you are, compared to me. If you had read all the original Steve Berry ChickenScratch novels, as I have, you'd know that the real ChickenScratch character isn't an obnoxious wanker, but is in fact quite knowledgeable, godlike in fact.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to re-organize my expensive collection of 1980s keytars, and then drive my Ferrari to NYC to have sex with my boyfriend who models underwear for Abercrombie & Fitch.

Those sound like dull titles. Carte Bland.

The stories were pretty good though. Solo, not as good as the the previous 2.

And why don't we adapt my story!?
It's the end of the Cold War, and the boys at Mi6 may soon be out of their jobs! Bond faces an all old friend from his Naval days, who has now become a suspected human trafficker! But is this crime meant to put Bond off the tracks of another and worse crime going on? The thought dead SPECTRE resurrecting themselves and looking to reignite the Cold War by causing friction between countries?!

I call it
Billy and the Clonesaurus! :oldrazz:

They should cast Jessica Chastain as the new Bond girl, classy crumpet with brains and strength who doesn't need to be harsh or Nun'd up to pull it all off!

Carte Blanche and Solo were the last official novels and yes, I've read all 3 :p
I think Carte Blanche and Solo were weak efforts. Solo showed promise but the thing nosedived in the second half. The Young Bond series has trumped the recent adult offerings, in my opinion. Especially those by Higson.

Even some of the remaining names "The Property of a Lady", "The Hildebrand Rarity" and "Risico" are quite as good as the ones already used.
Yes, I've been saying the same for ages. They need to use these titles ASAP.

I think the first two are just too unwieldy. Risico has a nice sound to it, however, and the word looks quite pleasing on the page.

A good book title does not necessarily make a good movie title, especially for a movie designed to be a blockbuster. The Property of a Lady sounds like it should star Colin Firth and Dame Maggie Smith playing croquet.

If people can't accept 'Quantum of Solace' as title till this very day, they'll never accept The Hildebrand Rarity.

I like the sound of Risico, and hope it is used at some point.

Sounds like a type rice :o

It does. Between that title and the other rice you usually find in the Spider-Man movies, they wouldn't be going against the grain.

From Sony and EON:

It's coming!

Awesome title, if true. Simple but effective and cool as hell.

I can imagine it to be just that.

Fans have wanted SPECTRE and Blofeld back for donkey's and we complained when we heard the word "Quantum"

So it would be a great title to excite fans.
