Ditch the scarred smile and give him a bit more hair. Looks a lot like Morrison's Joker.

That's the one thing I'd like to slap the crap out of Sam Raimi for. The Green Goblin did not need that power rangers mask at all. You had Willem Dafoe already! He didn't even really need prosthetics to pull off that face! What were you thinking!?!?@Rodrigo

As for Willem Dafoe, he was basically born to play the Joker, as much as Robin Williams was born to play the Riddler. It's a shame we'll never get neither, but I'm happy with Leto.

I hate that idea as well. As someone already said, this isn't a Sin City-ish movie, there is no reason to turn Leto into some distracting cartoon.Yes, I really dislike the idea of going to crazy with make up for Leto. No prosthetic nose or chin, or brow.
