Momoa is obviously not the...obvious choice for Aquaman. But this is a hero who has been dumped on and virtually regarded as a laughing stock in the public eye for a good while now. Badassing it up with Momoa will change this instantly.

Let's hope so. I have been sick and tired of the abuse the character has gotten over the yearsI really don't think it's deserved. I still blame Superfriends for a lot of the abuse.

Must have been incredibly annoying for those who are specifically Aquaman fans. I'm a fan of Aquaman but then I'm also a general fan of most of the main superheroes, and even then it was frustrating seeing him get misrepresented (even if some of the jokes were quite funny). Those who haven't seen what Aquaman is really about beyond the banter will be in for a shock when they see someone like Momoa on the posters.

Totally awesome! His dark skin may look just right. Seems like many times people look much paler when filmed underwater. So hopefully not so much for our boy. Aaaand... I'd like to hear one "OUTRAGEOUS!!!!" LOL

If they concentrate on Batman and Superman (and to a lesser extent, WW), and any others are very small bit parts appearing at the end (which is how I suspect it should pan out) then that shouldn't be a problem.

They had time for a story in X-Men: Days of Future Past. There is no such thing as too many characters really, it's about whether the writing and directing and performances come together.

Honestly I get the concern but when you sit back and think about it as long as the characters are well integrated and serve a purpose everything should be fine. And remember everyone isn't going to have equal screentime, that's not how films work.

yup. Before the Avengers, Hawkeye got like 10 seconds of screen time in Thor. In IM2 we find out BW works for Shield with Nick Fury thats really it.

Most films have loads of characters but the supporting characters aren't superheroes. The non-core guys here (or at least in JL, here they will probably be cameos outside of WW) will be the equivalent of supporting characters in other films.
