These pics (from Dirty Grandpa) are proof that the classic Aquaman could have been done:

I'm impressed with his muscular frame there. Aquaman could look exactly like that and have the suit and everything, and still be badass.
Not saying Efron should have played the hero. I just refer to the caucasian look with blond hair.
Charlie Hunnam and Paul Bettany also have blond hair (if you like them better than Efron)
It's all in the personality and what the hero does in the film. It was no need to alter the character to suit Momoa. They just had to give him a proper story and make him a non-joke guy. Again, based on personality, not looks
Here's from a comic book. As you see, it's the personality!!!

It was pretty hard to get Jason to get out of his Aquaman costume. It really became part of him.
I agree.Could greek gods be considered caucasian? I am just asking because I honestly don't know
anyway I like momoa's look over all the Aquaman looks. well except for the hook arm one.. It looks more badass and honestly the way Jason looks is pretty cool.. I think they are making the character more Hawaiian which makes sense too..
I agree with your sentiment, design wise the GL suit was fine but I still thought it was a mistake to make GL's suit CGI. Not only was the CGI itself not very good but I just feel like it takes something away when an actor isn't really wearing their superhero garb. Call me a romantic but I didn't want to see Henry, Ben and Gal wearing grey and black leotards with markers. At the risk of going off track, I don't think the Superman Returns or Green Lantern costumes were particularly bad at all. Superman Returns updated the material of the suit to look more modern but didn't tamper with the look itself. The classic look is a bit hokey but we all always knew that. Of course, it has been successfully updated since but that look certainly wasn't bad for what it was going for.
The Green Lantern suit I didn't mind at all and I'm sure if the movie was any good no one else would have either.

http://www.vcpost.com/articles/8748...ocean-master-jason-momoa-bulking-up-roles.htmIn an interview with Esquire, Momoa revealed that he had already begun bulking up and training for demanding stunts for his first DC appearance on 'Justice League' for several months. He reiterated the need for discipline and strict routine as well as keeping a healthy balance between the mind and body. He also stressed that the key to working out is to have fun and go outdoors.
An article from Bleach Report also revealed that Momoa's personal trainer happens to be WWE 'Tough Enough' competitor Mada Abdelhamid. The Egyptian worked with Momoa on his upcoming film 'The Bad Batch' with Jim Carrey and Keanu Reeves. Abdelhamid said, "I will also be on set for his Aquaman andJustice League movies. He likes to work out with me because we push each other."
'Aquaman' is standalone film in DC's shared universe currently under development with Warner Bro.'s to be directed by 'Furious 7' filmmaker James Wan. The first film in the trilogy is scheduled to be released on July 27, 2018
"Have you been scanned for Aquaman toys?"
From interview with Michael Wilkinson:
I wonder if he tried to go for a swim in it...?t:
JM: Well, there might be some bit of orange and green. A bit of respect to prior work, but I think he is meaner now and upset look at what has been done to our oceans. Thats his world that has been polluted.
maybe topo is the kraken![]()
Imagine Aquamoa controlling the Kraken!!!!![]()
Yeah.
As far as I know, it was only a fan-theory but is this now a confirmation that it's the World Engine in MOS that brings Aquaman into the fold? I mean, if Mamoa is just talking about pollution of the ocean in general then why would Aquaman only introduce himself now and not before? The damage to the ocean by the WE has to be the cause.
