Nothing against Jason Momoa, but, this must be the worst casting i ever seen.
No, i didn't just wake, i've been saying this since day one.

This is basically a way to ride the success of Game of Thrones.
It makes me think when people wanted Nicholas Brendon to play Peter Parker, back in the days, due to Buffy.


Aquaman is known to be blonde, case close.
People will say that i'm being anal about...but, i'm really not.
Physical aspect is a very important thing and should only be changed with a great reason.

Just as an example.
When the teaser came out, a few months ago, my mother watched it and the first thing she asked me was "who is that guy?", when i said it was Aquaman, her follow up was "isn't he blonde?".
My mother doesn't care for comics...at all.

Really reminds me of Peter David's Aquaman, not just look-wise, but personality-wise as well. I would never dare hope they'd bring my favorite version to the big screen.

I like the personality we've seen. We were given so little in the SDCC teaser, I was worried he'd mostly be the DCEU's Thor, a sort of haughty otherworldly royal. I like that he's got a human attitude to him. Perhaps it's a bit surfer bro, but I'm into it.

Yeah, it's fitting. Arthur was not born as royalty and is more of a working man, so even '90s more grumpy version still had that down-to-earth vibe to him.

I was pleasantly surprised by the humorous interaction. Never thought I'd see the day that I'd be anticipating seeing Aquaman the most in a live action JL movie & that he'd come off as the most badass of the League.

TBH, his "You're dressed as a bat? I like it" line very much reminded me of Thor in the Avengers movies. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you. But I do know what you're talking about.

Really? I think Flash is gonna be highly entertaining and offer good comedy when expected but yeah, for me the spotlight was largely on Momoa. It's shaping up to seem like he's gonna steal the show and end up making the character significantly more popular than he's ever been.

Are we looking at the end of Aquaman being the butt of jokes? I think so. t:
