The shark genre is pretty tired these days. If you want something original, then I suggest we petition Jurassic Park IV to be about aquatic dinosaurs and the havoc they wreck, maybe even including a Megalodon for good measure.

Don't remake Jaws, Jaws is excellent the way it is. Honestly, Jaws 2 is also really good in my book. The rest I pretend don't exist.

Jaws is my no.1 favourite movie amd my own personal view is that it should never be remade; as KalMart said, movies like this and Goodfellas, you just don't remake.

I get what the OP is saying when he/she says the book is so different from the movie that they should have a stab at making a movie that more closely sticks to the source material [so it's more of a reboot] but the thing is, JAWS is so ingrained in popular culture that people wouldnt see it as anything else than a remake that's had some scenes changed.

Now a straight up sequel that's approached properly [discounting [part IV]?

That's a different matter. The animatronic sharts in Deep Blue Sea showed me just how great a GWS could look nowadays, and that movie was, what, about 1998/9?

Also, the book is super terrible.

Cash for Stash pretty rad work it looks just like Bruce but can I ask why you didn't get it in color? Most shark tattoos are much more vibrant when done in full photo-realistic color.

Thanks man well i got it in black and white because tattoos are for life, and Jaws is going to be remembered for decades to come, so it kind of represents older films in a way. I'm also getting my upper sleeve done in all in black in white as well, i have it all planned out.
