Some news has slipped from the studios of Universal of a viral game to air on Youtube on Jan 31st to promote the upcoming release of Jaws 35th Aniversary DVD, although the 35th Aniversary for Jaws is more than a year away rumors say that the viral could be related to a possible Jaws remake or sequal...

I think a sequel would be cool. Anything's better than that one with the jumping shark, right? right?

You are def right and thanks for the thread because once we get more info on the viral and the movie it'd be too much for one thread so its great to have one thread for the discussion of the film and the other for the viral.

Oh, and yeah, No jumping or roaring sharks.....

You can put a shark in the sea but that doesn't make it Jaws.

In my book it's considered a Jaws film if.......

1.Takes place in or by Amity
2.Has a great white shark
3.Has a character related to the brody family.

And ya, dosent mean its a good movie, but it means its a Jaws movie....

I just watched the original Jaws on HBO the other night. It's a classic. Leave it alone. No more sequels, and definitely no remakes. :down

Even if this movie is gonna suck, who's gonna take apart in the virals with me???

This is why I thought these didn't need sequels.

What the hell? How in God's name does a great white shark the same size as the last one, come back to the same island and so happens to run into the same man who dealt with one before? It's so damn absurd. A shark taking revenge? Please...

No Robert Shaw or Richard Dreyfuss with Roy Shieder means bad business.

QFT. It would be as stupid as remaking a clockwork orange or the godfather imo.

They've had a 25th, 30th and now 35th? I guess this will be Blu-Ray. I'd still rather see a movie about the shark attacks in the 30s or how the Jaws movie was made.

I never saw any of the Jaws movies.

There is that documentry that has never beeen released.

I think Jaws 2 is a good sequal to the first movie I enjoy it just as much as the first..:woot:

Jaws is an iconic film, and any other shark flicks are just that, shark flicks.

Isn't that like a porn star that's never had sex? Useless and unexplored :oldrazz:

The Shark is Still Working (TSISW) is a three-hour long retrospective on the impact and legacy of the 1975 Steven Spielberg blockbuster Jaws. It features interviews with a range of cast and crew from the film. It is narrated by Roy Scheider and dedicated to Peter Benchley. Although advance copies have received very good reviews from professional critics, a release date has not yet been announced

Wish this would get released.

Better put jaws in space:cmad:. I want him to shoot lasers at cyber brody.
