I like him pretty well usually but I think I'm going to skip this one. I can't imagine him saying anything I won't read on here a thousand times over the next few years.

I'm going to skip it too. If I want to hear angry ranting, I'll listen to myself go on about taxes.

He actually starts out pretty calm. For the first 20 seconds or so. :funny:

I think he could be a interesting choice. I'm looking forward to it

Oh boy, more of "OH MY GOD, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! ************** THIS IS NOW A JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE. WHY DID YOU EVEN BOTHER ADDING LUTHOR?********* WB, I'M DONE WITH THIS ********. MARK ZUCKERBERG AS LEX LUTHOR? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!, ********************* YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST CAST ANDREW GARFIELD AS OTTO THEN."

Angry Joe is annoying with his angry hyperbole.

to be fair...his name is Angry Joe

Angry Joe's routine feels tired to me, even considering it's largely a trait he plays up for his fans.

It's that kind of persona that perpetuates the angry nerd in the basement stereotype.

Don't know if this has been posted before. Only saw it in Joe's video. He doesn't look too shabby bald. But can he pull off Lex? That remains to be seen.

It's funny because I seem to recall him really liking MOS. He's jumping the gun and overreacting, just like a lot of people are.

Angry Joe liked MoS if that video with That Guy With The Glasses (for MoS) was anything to go by. This movie isn't good for his blood pressure even if he's playing it up.

I will be avoiding this thread for the next few days for the obvious reasons:

I don't agree with this. Young and successful get more publicity. That's not real power. The old money are still running the show and the will continue to do so. Guys like Rupert Murdoch and the Koch bros. Zuckerberg doesn't wield more power than Donald Trump. Even though he's a clown, Trump still gets loons to listen to him.

Yeah, right, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were Both 29 or 30 when they started their companies. Even the Google guys were under 30 when they started their business.
even Howard Hughes took control of his father's Empire when he was 19 years old. The truth of the matter here is you tend to see technological captains of industry starting out at a young age.the casting of Eisenberg is just following that tradition.

I understand being leery of Gadot because of her limited experience as an actress but Eisenberg can actually act and I'm not in love with Affleck as an actor but he isn't a bad one.

Some of you guys are so slow. Zack Synder is trying to create a different DC universe, therefore his Lex is DIFFERENT!!!! It appears Zac wants a young, skinny, bill gates like villain. Not some suave and built super villain. I am glad he is doing this. Who wants the same thing over and over. The cartoons have done the best job of portraying the Lex some of you guys want, so why attempt the same on film?

Which is why I don't get the whole dot com billionaire inspiration. Dot com billionaires are usually seen as positive influences. Giving to charity and giving the world a new and innovative service they want.

Luthor is established as owning a petroleum company, otherwise known as the stereotypical evil business interest. Which is pretty counter intuitive to the character they "apparently" seem to be going for.
Who's to say that he'll be a dot.com billionaire. The ONLY real reason why people keep bringing that up is because he's somewhat younger and he played Mark Zuckerberg. Plus, he could always use some of his petro profits to fund various charities/social programs to build up his own PR. A "wolf in sheep's clothing" if you will.

It's not like Eisenberg can't be physically fit for the role of Luthor just because he's more on the skinny side right now.

Well, that was unexpected....... and freaking awesome.

Eisenberg is a very good actor with a phenomenal 'range', and, because of his age, should bring something to the role that we haven't seen before.

Gotta say, hated this announcement when I first read it, but after a few minutes it really grew on me. Loving the idea of a younger, fresher, probably more cocky Luthor.

Read my follow-up comment to see what I meant.

And he wonders why game companies treat gaming like a bunch of basement-dwelling neckbeards (paraphrasing from one of his videos on gaming). :funny:
