wow, that was bad

Lex Luthor in his post crisis persona has been viewed not only as a powerful business man, but also as a sex symbol. Eisenberg is many things, but not that.
I think Lex's appearances in TAS, Lois and Clark, and Smallville have all shown that side of him. Not to say that's the only interpretation, but it is the most recent.
Again this has nothing to do with his acting chops. This is just a mis-cast.
No creative person wants to mimic someone elses creation. Everyone that's career has advanced far enough to do a major blockbuster will want to put their own mark on the characters legacy.
Lol Lex is only a jerk to Superman? What have you been watching, reading, listening to?After having sometime to think...
I can't support it still, I'm sorry. Jesse was good at playing Mark in Social Network but playing Mark and playing Lex is 2 different things. Marks an ******* and Lex is only one to Superman. How is Superman suppose to take this guy serious? How is Metropolis suppose to take this guy serious? When I see Lex I don't see Jesse and when I see Jesse I don't see Lex.
When I see Affleck, I kind of see Batman. When I see Cavil I see Superman. I don't see Lex.
This has nothing to do with Ledger. We had no idea what Ledger's Joker would look like until photos came out of him in the makeup. With Jesse, what you see is what you get. He would be a good Riddler thinking about it but he is not right for Lex.

Isn't she a voice of one of the Kryptonian robots in Man of Steel?I think you're on to something there. She's one of Snyder's favs
His intentions are beneficial to himself under the guise of helping others.Well he's a jerk to more but his intentions are for the good of humanity. He wants to save the world and be the pinnacle of man.
Mark made Facebook......

What is the best version?
Bruce Timm.

I don't like the casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor because I don't like the direction that Snyder and Goyer have for this iconic villain. For the record, I have supported the decision to cast Heath Ledger as Joker in TDK, and Ben Affleck as Batman (you can look up my posts in the Hype forum).
I had no problem with a young Lex Luthor...back in Smallville. But for the movie, I think it is imperative that they cast someone who is middle-aged and intelligent (at least appears to be), a veteran actor who can hold his own against Superman and Batman on the big screen. I hope they can prove me wrong once the movie comes out, but until then I'll be against this casting choice, and I felt that there are many other actors who are more worthy to play Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman.
Blahblahblah... you've repeated the same crap how many times already?
Michael Keaton, Ledger... were miscast according to many geniuses like you, some even thought Cavill was too!!
We won't know till we see a trailer or the movie, but Eisenberg is talented, and with the physical transformation he will go thru for the role, he could be great, time will tell.
Back on Joaquín Phoenix for a sec, I guess he said no, which I was expecting anyway. Some don't like Eisenberg's voice, but Phoenix's is far from being ideal either, no one can beat Clancy Brown's Lex (STAS) in that regard.
