LexBook
You fail.
Lex is not a regular guy, though.
It's not a big assumption. I just don't see him putting on the same voice for Lex as he did Mark Zuckerberg or the guy from Zombieland. He's a regular guy in terms of his voice. He's not gonna put on a Bat-growl or do a crazy eccentric Joker thing. He just talks normally. So it's not a big assumption that Jesse will sound the same as Lex as he does normally.
One very real concern: Was he brought on board to add 'humor' to the film
I certainly hope not.

Is it really?
He just looks like a guy who could snap at any moment and stab you in the neck with a pen, at least in that picture.
Your fears have no bases in reality what-so-ever.Yes.
If they want to add comic relief to the film, theres other, better places to do that. Jimmy Olsen, Steve Lombard, even Batman can provide all the funny moments this film needs.
Not saying Luthor needs to be a complete stiff, though. Eisenberg excels at being a smart azz with a quick tongue, but he should never approach or even sniff Hackman/Spacey levels of goofiness. Any witty comment of his should be accompanied or followed by a sinister look or action.
I just hope after the 'uproar' from critics and some 'fans' who thought the film wasn't 'funny' enough didnt push Warner Brothers towards making Luthor a clown.
