Snyder saying it was, "...the exact opposite of Lex Luthor," makes me think Olsen.

Yep. That has Jimmy Olsen written all over it.

This new interview only intensifies my most anticipated performance in BvS other than the usual suspects. I think Jesse is going to CRUSH this so hard, our hair will melt off.

No way in hell I believe it's Jimmy. I don't even think he'll ever be in this universe, much less offered to someone on the rise like Eisenberg. That offer is almost a slap in the face.

My bet is on Flash. Jesse and Ezra share this kooky persona in a young career, and I'm betting Zack had this in mind on what Barry was supposed to be for the DCEU.

I concur.

I can see it being Flash...without question. Flash is quirky and has that type of personality that can drop some quick witted humor. Jesse is in that same vein and so is Miller. I can see the role either Flash or Jimmy. For the record, I don't see the Jimmy Olsen character being a slap in the face as it's the director's job to play with possible candidates on that character and Jesse would have been an awesome Jimmy Olsen too IMO. If anything, by appearance, he looks WAY more like Jimmy Olsen than how some fans perceive Lex Luthor so I can see Jimmy being the first role being offered to Jesse.

I can see it be either way honestly. It's not that far fetched that he may have been offered the role of Jimmy Olsen.

I'm really looking forward to this Luthor-related behind the scenes footage.
Wile E. Coyote reference made me chuckle, by the way.

Once again, nice job Mr. Wayne.

Mister? :oldrazz:

Once again, the characterization for Lex reads to be on point and interesting. Now I'm just ready to see all of it and hopefully it doesn't disappoint. Jesse's Luthor is my most anticipated CB villain of this year.

More than Leto's Joker?

I'm kind of on par with both of those lol

Goddamn typo. :p
I've been saying that it's easier to keep calling you Hazz. :o

Agreed. Everything we've read so far seems to indicate that it's going to be an enjoyable performance to watch. On paper, they got both Wondy's and Luthor's characterization right, now I just hope it will translate well in the film itself.

But, yeah, all these interviews, fictional ones with Luthor and real ones with Eisenberg do get me pumped, that is for sure.

Oh, Leto’s Joker is a close second. The reason is Ledger’s take has sated me when it comes to the characters in live action but that’s not to say Leto’s won’t be interesting to me as well. I am excited for his take too. The thing with Lex Luthor in live action is that I haven’t seen a take on him that has interested me. With Jesse, I am genuinely interested to see what he does with the character and it’s all sounding very intriguing and promising so far to me.

:hehe: You can still call me Hazz. Arms and Fallen call me that all the time.

Agreed on Wonder Woman and Lex. Fingers crossed that all translates well in the movie.

nobody is going to beat heath. it's as simple as that. that doesnt mean they wont perform great and surprise and make a good movie, but the thing with heath is it was a total re-invention and he really made the movie. nobody would have made such a good joker and the actual movie would never have been that good. it was amazing.

i would have enjoyed another additional half hour of movie or atleast a decent cliffhanger with ledgjoker @ arkham. that would have been a perfect ending.
was left out with his death. obviously, but the impact was big.

not even to mention his death kindof doubled or tripled the ledgend.

heath's joker will be a historical performance forever. it should be enjoyed as that.

similar to the leto joker. it's a different take on it, and it should be enjoyed as that.
compare it to Hugo Weaving in the Matrix. Agent Smith is legendary. The other agents were great too, but it was out of this world.
You could do a new matrix [not that they should] in another tone with another actor that could do a great Agent. but well......some things just legendary.

I think he could be the most cunning villain to date. Ledger's Joker was a mastermind but his goals were just an obsession with Batman. We haven't really seen a truly smart villian with big ambitions. I hope Lex is the first villian who's smart enough to not get caught and be more dangerous out in the open.

It's not as simple as anything, for me Heath was amazing but he wasn't more amazing than Nicholson or Romero, just different. Leto's looks different aswell but just as good.

All I want to see at the end of this movie is bald and scrawny Jesse Eisenberg being escorted down a prison hallway with cells on each side as prisoners shout horrible things at him while classical music plays

That would be cool

Maybe him head butting his cell mate too, that would be funny

Classical music and Lex fits. I would love a scene like that.

Knowing what Snyder is capable of, I think we'll get it :woot:

I don't think Lex will go to jail but maybe lose the trust of the Federal Government. Maybe a scene where superman stand outside his office warning him he be watching and fly away.

I think it would be better of him to not get caught and turn everything around, right?

(So, keep fooling the public and the government, like he does in the comics).

I still think his emotional impact is that he lost someone during Zod attack.
