Hm. 9.2/10 joke.

Nice! Personal record. :woot:

I'm not sure if that Martha Kent rumor is true it could be however I do believe the leaked plot summary is because every scene in the trailer you can find in the summary, maybe I'm wrong who knows.

I think Lex is almost going to be two characters the eccentric and somewhat witty businessman who presumed to be benevolent and generous. Then behind closed doors he's a completely different person cold, detached, ruthless and egotistical beyond all measures, I believe the scene with the senator will be the scene that reveals this side, I've already kind of began piecing together how it will go probably start off a little weird and before becoming terrifying, kind of like this.

The Senator shows up and Lex is reading Paradise lost he welcomes her while she remarks that she didn't know he was interested in old literature in a very smallville luthor scene he goes on how old literature still stands the test of time, she begins telling him about the whole situation with Superman probably asking for his support and funding. Lex ignores her instead asking her what the oldest lie in america is he then begins telling her about Paradise lost and how Lucifer cost man the place in the heavens after finishing she's confused wondering what on earth that has to do with anything he hesitates and then in a moment his whole demeanor changes he says sorry i gotta put this full speech I think it would be awesome.

"That's the lie, here he has come to guide us to be our savior we race behind him and look to sky with hope like an angel something to inspire us all, then we fall helpless to pick ourselves up our purpose taken condemned damned" the senator looks at him confused, "And we know better now don't we devils don't come from the hell beneath us they come from the sky." She looks at him with a hint of fear, "Are you afraid of him of course you are how couldn't you be he has the power to take this entire the planet and worse people would let him, they will let him after all who opposes the will of god and then the joy turns to fear as they come there shields and capes flapping in the night you can't stop them no one can they will come for all who reject him and one day they will come for you and all you can do is run through the streets in terror screaming, the red capes are coming, the red capes are coming, but no one will hear you and those who do will just be screaming with you and then like Noah we'll be washed away forgotten, dead." he would say the last completely flat and blunt.

That's kind of how I see the scene going obviously not exactly like that but the idea is Lex is using fear to manipulate her for added bonus you could also have him quote alexander's at some point. But I feel that would be a pretty solid introduction to Lex relating Superman to the devil then using fear to get her to do exactly what he wants even better his speech isn't impossible considering everything that's happened.

Collider interview with Jesse. Talks a bit of BvS.

One of my most anticipated movies of next year is Batman v Superman. I won’t ask you about the plot but I do want to know what did you think it was going to be like being part of the movie, prior to signing on, and what has it been like having done the movie and sort of – because there is a huge amount of interest in the film. What’s it been like for you?

EISENBERG: I’ve never been involved for something that is parsed to this degree. Whether it be something that someone says that has some tangential relation to the movie or the trailer images that are released. It was initially surprising and fortunately the movie is really wonderful. So when people are parsing what the individuals images maybe be, the takeaway is how interesting the movie looks and how wonderful it is. You know, the script is phenomenal. Written by Chris Terrio, who is just brilliant. And Zack Synder is just visually, masterful. And I think everything that’s been released and parsed within an in of its life has been received so well.

Man of Steel is one of my favorite movies of the last few years. I love the movies so much. And everything I keep hearing about Batman v Superman is that Zack has crafted something wonderful. For you, when you were on set making it. Did you get the feeling that you were making this big movie? Or has Zack created this environment that has made you feel insulated from that kind of big budget, big movie pressure?

EISENBERG: The latter. Absolutely. The way he shoots things – at least, insofar as my scenes were concerned – was very specifically and very simply a lot of my scenes are dialogue driven and it felt like I was on any other kind of intimate movie set. So watching that trailer for the first time, was when I really got a good sense of the overall movie, the look, and I thought it was really incredible.

The environment on the set is one of respect and intimacy and allows the actors to do what actors do well even in the context of this huge and larger scope. And the production.

So I have to ask, is there a certain wig you prefer in recent movies ?

EISENBERG: Definitely the no hair is ideal. The easiest thing.

Well I’m familiar with the no hair, and I quite enjoy it.

EISENBERG: Yeah. You know how good that is. Of course. That’s the best. Easiest to care. Easiest to dry.

Believe me when I say I’m going to ask you so in depth about this movie when it comes out. And I won’t ask about it because when it comes out we will talk. But have you seen a rough cut? Have you seen anything?

EISENBERG: Oh no no. I think it’s probably still in the editing phase.

Just found out about that interview a minute ago, i like that Lex is going to have a lot of dialogue driven scenes to show his main power is his mind

New interview with TODAY

"Yes, it is like the most incredible character. It was written by this guy, Chris Terrio. This is like his first movie after Argo. He's just this brilliant writer of characters. So this movie is not this kind of cartoonish superhero movie. It is very serious and well acted, well written, well directed movie. It's really phenomenal!"

You forgot the most important part :argh:

I was actually hoping to reveal the whole plot. Yes. Yes. He has no hair... on his head. It's like the most incredible character. It was written by this guy, Chris Terrio. This is like his next movie after Argo. He's just this brilliant writer of character, so this movie is not like a kind of cartoonish superhero movie. It's this very serious well-acted, well directed movie. It's really phenomenal.
He has no hair in the movie too? therefore the hairstyle is fake in BvS for the other fachade on Lex Luthor? Remember 2 sides of the coin thing (what Snyder said) :hmm

Lex created Doomsday, knowing the weakness = Kryptonite. The Justice League is formed not because of Doomsday, rather because of Lex. Lex creates Doomsday, watching him create havoc. Watching the superheroes like Batman and Superman fail... They aren't able to stop it. Lex will have created Doomsday to kill innocent people, all for the purpose of his own glory and to slight these powered superheroes that he envies as green as the Kryptonite he used to take out Doomsday. The scene with the Kryptonite is Lex letting Superman live, but also letting him know he is in control. Justice league forms because people don't know Lex created the threat, they don't know that he IS the threat!!

Many seem to hope this Lex is the scientific genius he usually is, but... How disappointing will it be if he's not? If he is just a business mogul with vast resources and isn't the one to actually have the scientific acumen we think he should have? Would that ruin the character for any in this DCEU?

I think a lot of guys in the tech industry are a lot more mad scientist than we see in the public eye.

It doesn't need to be that cut and dry. He can be a genius corporate tech guy, that funds scientists to do the work. It's not like he's afraid to get rid of anyone that he thinks will talk. The animated series had him as the corporate Lex, but also with the mind to get development done into teach research. Not that big of a stretch. As for the theory I'm talking of, it would make sense that Lex finds out what kryptonite does through experimenting on Zod's body. <br><br>The only reason I would mention him creating Doomsday is the possibility of Zod's body being used to create it. This theory still works even if he doesn't experiment to CREATE Doomsday. He could have the knowledge of how to kill him, and after discovering how to release him and unleash him on Earth .......... can make himself the hero and the JL will know he did this but have no proof. To the general public Lex will look like a hero and Superman and the rest form JL because the greatest threat is LEX. A man who was willing to bring forth Doomsday, a creature that killed a bunch of innocent humans. Lex is the threat --- A man with truly no limits (sorry Bruce ;) ) and hatred against superheroes that is so great, he'd let innocents die just so he could save the world where they could not. Great way to run for President too :o :D

Unfortunately, she was referring to Gene Hackman's version.

:o

Lex experimenting on Zod's body to find out how Kryptonite will affect Superman... I'm confused on this notion because, Zod is already dead. :o His neck was snapped by a Kryptonian, not from Kryptonite. ;)
