Thank you for spoiler-tagging whatever it is you said. I've decided to remain spoiler-free.

Oh, it's not really a spoiler, Boom. I just used the black out tags for comedic effect since Jesse's tendency to gush about Terrio is almost like a gag at this point.

The Lexosuit is kind of a tricky thing to me. I like the idea of demonstrating that Lex can build a suit/robot/weapon able to match Superman, but Lex really is more cerebral.

I think I'd prefer it if he used it in exceptionally cunning ways. Like, have the suit actually be an empty drone, but use lead to build it and act like it's got Lex inside so Superman spends time fighting it, then using that time to ambush him with more drones. Or have him use it mostly as an escape suit that's clearly not on par with Supes himself.

I was making a joke. :csad:

New interview with Eisenberg, where he, once again effuses about [BLACKOUT](you guessed right) Chris Terrio[/BLACKOUT]

Jesse has found a good template to use when answering questions about BvS. "This guy, Terrio..." seems to be most important to mention. :woot:

I thought it was a good joke Boom. 8.5/10.

Joke-ception... Starring Jared Leto as Jason Todd.

Interviewer: So, Jesse, can you tell us anything about the film without mentioning Chris Terrio or his screenplay?

Jesse: Yes. Yes, I can.

Interviewer: Great! What can you tell us?

Jesse: Well, there's a precipitous chasm that exists between what I'm able to share, and what I'm willing to share with you.

Interviewer: Ah, okay. So, are you willing to share anything with us?

Jesse: Sure. Chris Terrio is a phenomenal writer; he directed Argo.

Interviewer: Umm.. thanks for your time.

:hehe: When he's off the sniper list, I am sure he'll say some pretty worth while things. I'm most looking forward to hear his and Affleck's thoughts on the film and how they went about getting into their characters.

Everytime I see a new interview with Jesse I know for sure he mentions Terrio.

I can't wait to actually hear about Lex as a character.

:highfive: He's got me intrigued since the trailer and the little bit we've heard about him.

This being my favorite,
"...while the interior of Lex's house was shot in a Detroit museum, but we never get to see his bedroom. Why is that significant? "Everything is a facade. You have no access to what is inside Lex."

Everything is a facade... I really think that means Lex wears a wig out of vanity, no joke. Could be abandoning that by say the film's end indicates the change from Lex, the manipulative tycoon to Lex, genius criminal mastermind.

Ugh I don't want him to be like that. I don't want him to start being a full blown, "Hey I'm a criminal *****es!" I want him to still be thinking that he is doing the right thing.

That doesn't mean he thinks of himself that way. This is an important distinction. Magneto can think he's John Brown, Mahatma Ghandi and Martin Luther King Jr. all rolled into one... But that don't make it so in terms of his actions.

I'm saying, whether he's caught or not, he embraces his part now as a total power unto himself, completely above the laws of man (or God). He can think that he's right, or he can think that all morality is the petty philosophy of the lesser men of the world. Either way, he's through with facades. My gut tells me that's what that quote indicates. He has a hidden side, but by the end of the film, in some way shape or form... It ain't hidden anymore.

Yeah I get ya, I just don't want everyone to see Luthor and think "criminal" in the future.

It's a bit of a catch-22 with that.

1. You make it that Luthor was thwarted but he doesn't get caught. This shows how formidable that Lex is, but... It could also make the heroes look a little feeble since he still is free to plot and scheme.

2. Lex gets put away, vows revenge ect. The heroes get a clean "win"... But now you have to spend time in any future film to explain how you get Lex back into the mix to battle Supes and the gang.

There's pluses and minuses to any path taken I think.

Well, we know Snyder isn't one to have a clean "win" for the heroes in his films so 1. is very likely.

Eisenberg will show up to his next interview with a "Terrio #1" foam finger.
