JJ Abrams/Eric Kripke team up for NBC thriller 'Revolution' - Part 1

The Monroe's vs The Neville's was great! :D Rachel is making Miles soft, she weepy eyed him into not taking that shot, Charlie should talk some sense into momma.

Poor Aaron, dude can't catch a break, he thinks he's got his wife back but really she's just sexing him so the Nano's can control him, the machines have discovered what Prince knew all along. :(

Also, the President is a cold S.O.B. and it seems the show runners are forgetting or just completing ignoring the 15 years time gap between the blackout and the present time. Because all those politicians and Webb have not aged.
That is one of the nitpicks I've had with this show. The inconsistent time passages. How is it they've aged so well in a world that is so much harder than it used to be? Even in the modern world they would have been more noticably older.

Not to mention boots with real thick treads, glasses with no scratches. I need new glasses and it has been only 1 year.

You should take better care of your stuff as every decent post apocalyptic survivor does :)

Whatever happens I think they need to keep Monroe and Miles roughly on the same side,t hat bickering bromance is one of the shows best assets.

I noticed the boots too. I can sort of see that one sliding as maybe there are some still unused or stashed away for when your existing pair runs out but that stretches the credibility thin.

The same with some of the clothes.

Glasses on the other hand, that one is impossible to easily write off. Perscription glasses require too fine of a tool to be done by hand and even regular glasses wouldn't be easy to just cut and shape like this.

I remember a story about how they had to "dirty up" the actors when it was pointed out that things like showers and such would be harder to come by.

I liked the scenes between Miles and Gene in the last episode, coupled with the Rachel and Charlie scene from later on they really did progress the story and the characters in a simple but effective way.

It also really struck me how marginalized Charlie is this season.

She's gone from annoying to interesting to practically nonexistant. Hopefully only a minor detour. She is one of the main stars but we've seen too little of her. I think her name is like second in the billing so killing her off would also mean both of Rachel's kids are dead. That would be a big deal too.

New episode tonight, I think.

You guys spoke too soon. :hehe:

Not really surprised over [blackout]Jason's death[/blackout]. He seems like the most expendable major character, plus I saw the actor in a photo at a table read for another pilot a week or so ago. Still, great stuff. Look forward to seeing what this does to Charlie and how [blackout]Neville[/blackout] reacts.

I love it when Miles and Monroe go on missions together, they are like two products of the 80's trying to out-sarcasm each other! :D

I don't know how those floor mines didn't go off when Jason, Charlie and Monroe jr went chasing after baldy, they all looked to run straight over them.

Bless the nanites for putting over Aaron's love making prowess! :oldrazz:

It was really well done and it looks like Charlie vs Neville next week, I wonder if the ep is gonna be a two hander.

They did finally give Charlie something to do. At least it wasn't playing a corpse.

And the nanites. We can't take their word at how good Aaron's abilities are since everything is new to them. They seemed to enjoy burning their own rented hand for fun, and Aaron though it smelled good. :hehe:

Miles and Monroe are I think my favorite "couple" in this show. They do play off each other so well.

Ha, all along I thought it was Ben affleck was the governor of California. Didn't think it was Jennifer garner

New episodes start again tonight. Because, you know, when you kill off a major character in the climax of the episode... you follow it up with a month-long hiatus.

Kind of amazing they made it this far with all the problems there have been.

Well, it's not like other networks don't pull the same s***ty scheduling with their shows. It's just a lame thing to do.

Most shows don't off a major character and give you a month to wonder at the repercussions either.

Jeez, two seasons deep and I think that was the first time we've actually seen the Matheson brothers meet face to face. Good episode. That Neville/Charlie scene was tense as ****.
