Am ready to roll if this is the cast they picked. But Who's cast as Barry? The million dollar question? With the age of this group Barry would have to almost be one of the oldest heroes in this version of the JLA.

Eva Green confirmed to the Jeanney Livejournal that she mada and audition for ''Justice League of America'' and said that she would like Tom Welling as Superman.

My Toughts:

SUPERMAN - Daniel Cudmore.
BATMAN - Armie Hammer.
WONDER-WOMAN - Megan Gale.
FLASH/BARRY ALLEN - Ryan Gosling.
FLASH/WALLY WEST - Adam Brody.
GREEN LANTERN - Common.
AQUAMAN - Andy Whitfield.
MARTIAN MANHUNTER - CGI.

MAXWELL LORD - Jeremy Piven.
TALIA AL GHUL - Eva Green.
HENCHMAN - Jay Baruchel.
HENCHMAN - D.J. Cotrona.
HENCHMAN - Santiago Cabrera.
HENCHGIRL - Teresa Palmer.

IRIS WEST - Zoe Kazan.
ALFRED - John Gleese.

At 6'8" Daniel Cudmore would be the tallest Superman who ever lived, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Well if Cudmore is supes we dont know how many scenes there will be of the heroes in their secret ids.

It seems, however, that this is merely the writer's opinion. She has absolutely no references to back it up. On the converse side, however, we have actors in Sydney, a costume director in Syndey (at the time of her passing), and actual quotes from Miller himself to the contrary that JLA is progressing. I'm inclined to believe Miller rather than a blogger writing what appears to be her own speculation.

I was just saying this made more SENSE Out of the cast (as we know it)

Superman Armie Hammer 6.5' closer to the size Sups is and does have that deep comanding voice
Batman DJ Cotrona 5.9' he can be 6.1 with ears and... Billionaires get tans
unless they call him Batmang
Wonder Woman Megan Gale 6'+ Amazons are big women with man faces
The Flash Adam Brody ? goofy and most of his head would be covered anyway
Aquaman Santiago Cabrera? You would expect Aquaman to be from a warm weather Area of the ocean and THAT would splain the tan
Green Lantern Common? he black and has a goat
Martian Manhunter D Cudmore 6.8' because he is too tall really to play Sups and does kinda look like a martian

I'm saying I think this makes more sence with the people that have been linked to JL

Lets not forget the Variety and HR articles in December that mentioned that WB is not sure on how to proceed with JLA, if they should proceed at all. And we have heard quotes like Miller's before, IIRC, it was either Ratner or McG or perhaps both that had quotes on how the film(Superman) was progressing and then the next minute we get the news that the project has been scrapped.

What actors? Nobody has been officially confirmed after months and months of speculation, a shooting date hasn´t been set, and this was supposed to begin as early as February or so.

Who said the shooting date is not set?
They officially announced today, on the first day of shooting, the cast for the new James Bond, names rumored for weeks. And not the full cast.
So, it's not uncommon to give the names to the press close to the shooting.

Folks, I think it should be pointed out that the writer of that blog isn't some fly-by-night doofus with a simple opinion and "absolutely no references."

Anne Thompson is deputy editor of Variety.com and writes a weekly Variety industry column. From January 2005 through February, 2007, she was deputy film editor of The Hollywood Reporter, where she wrote the weekly column "Risky Business," which was globally syndicated by Reuters. She has contributed to Premiere, Wired, Filmmaker, New York Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The London Observer. From 1996 to 2002, she headed Premiere's Los Angeles bureau as West Coast Editor. Before joining Premiere, she tracked behind-the-scenes Hollywood as a senior writer at Entertainment Weekly and as West Coast Editor at Film Comment Magazine. From 1985 to 1993, she wrote the first iteration of "Risky Business" for L.A. Weekly and The Los Angeles Times Syndicate. A graduate of the Department of Cinema Studies at New York University, Thompson teaches Sneak Previews at UCLA Extension.

Five weeks and counting...

Maybe, but the main cast should be mostly confirmed at this point. People can say this or that name is "set in stone", but I remember when Hugh Dancy was "signed, sealed and delivered" to play Batman in Nolan´s first one...

So the fact that the actors that have been rumored were all staying at the same hotel two weeks ago in Sydney is just a coincidence? I'm sorry, but I really don't buy that. Obviously this is moving forward. Just, for whatever reason, the WB is not releasing a statement.

...Who also said The Dark Knight will be PG, which is total bogus if you watched the film´s IMAX prologue

I didn't mean to imply that she doesn't have any references. Just that the JLA mention was one small sentence in a bigger article, and that sentence had no references or support for it whatsoever.

And this was reported by who? A gossip column? Were they for shooting or auditioning? Again, till the studio goes out and officially confirms the cast, nothing can be considered set in stone.
