oh god, without a shadow of a doubt she has a horse face. She has big features like she could pass a Andre the Giants sister but in a pretty way. WW is suppose to be perfect but Gale looks like she could be on one of those shows were they bring out a bunch of hot women to fool a guy because they are all actually men and everyone's jaw drops when they let the cat out of the bag. I think the first 3 all served their generations just fine. Knocking Chris Reeve as an actor just because you're 60 and grew up watching George every Saturday morning... just biased ******ation. Chris was a terrific actor and helped to REdefine the role.

On that note, I think what every "actor" since Chris has lacked is that ability to redefine the role and make the character great, iconic, and likable. No one is saying "yeah, he doesn't look like Dean Caine." or "dude, this guy SOOOO doesn't look or act like Routh's Superman." You know why? They were mediocre at best.

What we need is an actor who can redefine the role and move away from all 3 of the first, real iconic Superman actors. They carved their part of cinematic history as their own versions. I think we need someone new and fresh to take over the role that can carry the torch for the next couple of decades.

To me, all the actors that have played superman have looked like guys in a superman costume. to me, none of them have really looked like superman. the first two dont like at all like superman, reeves came close but his jaw isnt defined enough and he's not as fit as superman. cain's face is a little too goofy for superman and routh looks two lean and not broad enough to be superman. i think welling's body is what superman should be (maybe a little more toned) but his face is goofy like cain's

This is how I see Superman in the ideal live action form:

The only one I would be afraid to go hand to han with is Reeve (if he'd been alive). He has that distinct Superman-look. He was the only one who was close to pull off the "put on glasses, and no one will se I'm Superman".

Great actor. The way he changed his body-language when the glasses came on (the scene in Superman where he almost tells Lois is amazing. He takes of his glasses and "puts his chest out". He transforms in a marvelous way. We will never see anyone managing to pull of such a great Superman.

Routh was ok. Cain was a whuzz.
