JL Casting Call Update

Anyways if la times is wrong about his speculation and Brody is Barry, imo the script has been changed i doubt that Warner would "kill" Brody.

Brody is i suspect one of their potential ticket garantee for success and sequel , and i can't imagine why Warner /miller would kill him..

The Justice League movie has been particularly rumoury of late, with all sorts of casting stories flying about. But recently many sites have been running their casting stories as 100% confirmed. Today, The LA Times has confirmed slashfilm.com's story that Adam Brody will play The Flash in George Miller's upcoming film.

We like Brody as a choice for The Flash aka Wally West. The character's apparently intended as the most comedic of the ensemble and Brody's brand of bemused sarcasm should fit well. Stop reading now if you don't want to know potential spoilers about the beginning of the Justice League movie.

Wally West is set to be the second Flash, with the movie opening with the funeral of previous Flash, Barry Allen. Young Wally is Barry's nephew and was exposed to superpower-giving electro-chemicals when visiting his uncles laboratory as a child.

Finally something official.

We finally got some news. I'm happy with Brody as Flash. He looks the part and he can act too. Well that's one down and an as-of-yet undisclosed amount to go.

So since we are on a height kick of late. How tall is Adam? Do we have a tall Flash?

IMDB has Brody at 5"11.....I was thinking...aside from ages ..and for that matter ability or lack thereof...IF the Hammer and Gale rumors are true...and IF they are looking at a guy the size of Cudmore (or even close)...it would seem that Miller may be trying to give us as close...at least Visually ... to the comics as possible...and I don't mean just faces...I mean total packages...it would seem if we have giants in supes bats and ww (put her in heels of somesort) ...then visually the trinity is strikingly more powerful appearing....does this make sense...or am I just babbling...??

Makes sense, could be true. We'll have to wait and see. :super::ww::batty:

Batman is supposed to be 6'2" while Superman is 6'3" (I don't know where DC officially stated that he's 6'4" since that's Reeve's height). I get these from DC's website a while ago. But then again, we can't be sure now because DC has pulled down their official bios from its website. Suspiciously though, the "Secret Origin" part of the website doesn't have Superman's, so I wonder why is that?

Anyway, back to topic, if I remember correctly, J'onnz is supposed to be the tallest (6'7"), so now if Batman's upped to 6'5" and Supes's 6'8" (Cudmore's height), should they make J'onnz taller?

I doubt they would (if they go the big boys route)...make MM taller.maybe the same height....I don't think they would want the main 3 to be overshadowed....on a side note..though the film counterparts may taller than the comic ones...there is no way they could have actors be build of the comic counterparts as most typically and commonly portrayed...and so the height could be used to off set that issue of the build...so that they are still more physically impressive than the other heroes...especially if there are no secret identities on screen...you don't have to deal with showing a 6'5 Bruce or 6"7 Clark.....does that make sense?>

How come so many of you guys would be ok with a 5'8, 140 lb Batman????

I don't think its, so, much as being ok with it, more like, they rather see a tall supes and a short bats, then the other way around
(from the names that are rumored, based on height alone, switching them would make since)
obviously they would prefer someone taller, but if (if) those are the actors we're getting, then, I can understand that

with batman, you figure with the boots, halmet and erns, he'll gain a few inchs, anyway, and the suit can add bulk
just saying

Anyway, back to topic, if I remember correctly, J'onnz is supposed to be the tallest (6'7"), so now if Batman's upped to 6'5" and Supes's 6'8" (Cudmore's height), should they make J'onnz taller?
maybe they should get Shaq, for MM LOL

Cudmore seemed to have some problem with acting back in X-Men III, but if he's spent a good deal of his time since then solving it (and if he can convince Miller) I'm ok with him for Supes.

He's got the face, he's got the build. If he can act, good choice.

i cant believe they r considering gale for this....she not even an actress..

Wait, so now Cudmore is rumored for Supes???

Adam Brody is a "star"??

LMAO!

By Warner ? hmmm

strange :brucebat: :D

No Cudmore please . not only he is Colossus but he doesn't have a Superman vibe and doesn't seem to be that good an actor yet.

Cudmore as Superman?? My god....sheesh...

There was a reason he wasn't given many lines in X2 and X3.....

Not a good actor!

I thought this movie's cast was locked? Are they still casting the main characters?
