And hey I would have liked to have Routh back for this JL film for the sake of continuity....but that way would have been to logical and easy for WB's.

Hmmm i wanted badly Bale and Routh together "united" with the biggest icons of the dc universe .. that was a dream for me.. but i'm beginning to warm up to the idea of a different universe.

for one thing giving us another interpretation of those characters.

i like to see multiple interpretations in the comics .

and i like the idea that a director and a screenwriter are not unchained ( even a little) to another people interpretation.

that's why i hope that the so called spinn off will be separated from the Jl.

Ps not to say that Miller version will be good. i don't even like some of the rumored choice ( Palmer is a good actress but is not Talia and to young imo Hammer is interesting but is to young for jL) we'll see..

I would like this to be over too ..but in a way IF all the actors are not cast i prefer that Warner take its time and get the best actors for the role available (considering that they are already sufficiently in shape , the clock is ticking )

Yeah i'd prefer that too but it wouldn't hurt for them to announce the cast members they have been able to sign. Even Iris Allen would be great now.

Cudmore would be better as Captain Marvel, imo.

Physically he's as close as you can get to Colossus IMO.

the thing is i saw very little of Naysmith ( some photos and demos ) and not to say he is a better actor and that Hammer didn't gave a better test, he really is more along the line with what i would expect from a Jl Batman.

i just give him one look and i see an experienced Bruce Wayne and Batman ( and he is 28 year old )

again , not to say he is really that good , but if hammer is the one , it's a shame ,than it seem they really can't find a guy who is a good actor and looks really the part.

From his Myspace pager he is about 6'4", 28 years old and has a pretty good build. Here is a clip of him acting. Looks pretty good.

Hammer's reps apparently said he is in the film but not which part he has. Maybe he isn't Batman? We don't know.

But this hammer dude can make a good Batman physical wise. He's bloody 6' 5" tall. He would most likely be the tallest Batman to date. I also saw on G4 TV on the show "The Feed" that it is officially confirmed that hammer is Batman and Meagan Gale is Wonder Woman.
