I could really see Green as Talia, she was perfect in Casino Royale, plus she looks like Talia. Not to mention I believe someone said it earlier but she is a bigger name than most of the rest of the rumored cast.

When casting a superhero base movie where do they usually cast the bigger name? (not the case with Iron Man or the new Hulk movie I know) Usually the bigger name is the villian of the movie.
Hackman, Spacey, Travolta, Nicholson, Dafoe, Neeson. There is more just can't think off the top of my head.

So if I was a betting man I would have to say that my money would be on Green getting the Talia role (that is if the rumors are true.)

Don't you dare say Neeson is a bigger name/draw than Bale again!

WB has listened to fans before when it comes to the type of backlash. Anyone remember Jack Black's GL and Superman lives? So its not out of the question. And honestly, Gale does have kind of the manface but if you put her beside other females, she does tower over them. She does have the presence. I still say the Superman and Batman role will make or break this movie, hence Welling or Routh should have gotten it.

I dont know how serious WB was into making a Green Lantern film with Jack Black in the starring role, but I have little doubt we would have got Burton's Superman Lives back in 1998 if it wasnt for (A.) A good number of WB's big budgeted films at the time tanking at the box office and (B.) Interest within WB to invest in another superhero project after the, in many ways, failure of Batman and Robin back in 1997.

Actually, I believe sets were even being built before WB's feet got cold enough to finally make the decision to pull the plug ...

Totally agree with ya. The "man face" comments come from a small minority with very high post counts, so they appear much more disproportionate.

Gale is a stunning woman that could walk into any room and instantly stop all conversation. That's for certain.

I'm guessing most of her haters are pretty young, and are more into "girls" than "women".

With 6-8 weeks left before the supposed filming start date, I think it'd be easier for Monica Dean to beef up than it would be for Megan Gale to get chin surgery and look the part

I hoped for MEW, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't accept someone of equal caliber or more for the role; Like Eva Green.

I agree to an extent. I know no one, including me, would ever suggest her for WW, but she was an actress that fit the mold of what WB said they were going for.

That comments is just pathetic. Not everyone has the same taste, you know? Just because one don't find her pretty doesn't mean they are young & into girls. I'm 30 & I don't find her quite pretty. I do know what a pretty woman look like. Gale isn't on that list. Does this mean if someone who think a woman is pretty which you don't mean you're pretty young & into girls instead then?

She doesn't have a man-face, but she isn't all that as some make her out to be. Her jaw is a little too big, so you can see where the man-face comment come from. And it clear some of you guys don't care who play WW as long she is hot. What about acting chops? I prefer someone better than Gale for WW. Now I blame some of you Gale fans for Hollywood just going with people like Denise Richards & others: pretty face who can't act worth a crap.
