After a suggestion by poster NIGHTSWING i sent another message asking if any of the other actors named in last months's JL cast list were at the hotel. This was his reply.....

Now i know with all the rumors flying about that many may skeptical about this. But i have faith that he is telling the truth and that those actors were all in Sydney. I assume that they are/were all there to start rehearsals, training and do costume fittings etc.

Is this movie supposed to be a parody of Justice League?

It doesn't really matter. Just something else to talk about rather than cast rumors.

Batman aside, and before Batman 89 was made, Keaton had more talent in his pinky than some of these "actors" do in their entire bodies.
I don't know. Brody is playing the comic-relief, the young brash superhero, and he could probably pull it off. He was not bad in his series.
Santiago Cabrera will probably be the silent, brooding, intense king and I think he can do that too.
I'm not crazy about Megan Gale's acting but the roles I have seen her in weren't that demanding.
For the others I'm holding my judgement. They might be the most talented unknown actors in the world.
I was not crazy about the Watchmen casting, considering the roles and the actors previously rumored for the parts. But in the things I've seen with Wilson, Morgam, Haley and Goode, they're all very good.

Keaton was recognized as a more then avarage good actor back in 89. His role in Beetlejuice, for instance, made him an a-list actor. Being in a tv-show for teenagers is nothing compared to that.

It's kind of like casting Heath Ledger as Superman. Everybody knows its a good actor, just like people knew Keaton was a good actor back in 88'. But first impression is that he is not right for the character. But Keaton pulled it off.

Lets just hope Miller knows what he is doing. But Miller is not in the same league as Burton, in my book.

No ones in Burton's league, he's unique. :woot:

^Maybe not...but what kind of eye for discovering talent does Burton really have? He normally doesn't bother with auditions, he just calls up Johnny Depp for all his lead roles lol (not that that's a bad thing...). Still I've said this before George Miller DISCOVERED Mel Gibson, and Nicole Kidman. He has an eye for new talent.

You say eye for talent, I call it racism! If they wasn't from Australia he wouldn't have even given them the time of day! :cmad:

Yeah, why would he get Australian actors in Australian movies? It'd be a much better idea to get American actors trying to do an Aussie accent, right? :whatever: :oldrazz:

As simple as your post was, you lost me big time.

Kidman and Gibson both had decent acting credits to their name prior, they weren't exactly new talent so I don't think you can say Miller 'discovered' them.

No, Miller pretty much discovered Mel. He was barely recognized by Australians before Mad Max, but after, he was a household name in not just Australia, but the whole world.

Don't forget Helena Bonham Carter. :yay:

I can sort of agree with Gibson, but Miller in no way discovered Nicole Kidman.
