JLA vs. The X-men

Except that the X-Men have a bunch more telepaths than the JLA do, and the JLA really has no defense against telepathy outside of J'onn. Aquaman would get crushed by any of the X-Men's telepaths, since his human telepathy is pretty weak.

After the whole Fernus thing, I think ge gained a certain level of resistance to fire. He's now invulnerable to fires, unless they're "flames of passion." As in, fires started by someone for some signifigant reason, like an arsonist. It's a psychic thing.

I think Fire hurled at him with the intention of immolating him would fall under that category dont you? Like that seems like a significant reason for the fire.

Magneto wouldn't be disposed of easily, sorry. He and Jean Grey (as Phoenix) are among the most powerful beings in the MU.

In the first post of the thread the thread starter indicated that the X-Men had both full powered Pheonix and Magneto on their side.

That or Pheonix would just consume the solar system they were in along with everyone in it. Or Magneto would simply use his powers to give them all planetary sized strokes, anurism or hemmorage their inside with his ability to control the iron within their bodies.
