Correction, Batman knows 127 different martial arts, and exactly that number last I read.

Karate Kid is the one who knows more martial arts than Batman, being from the future, and thus educated in martial arts that have yet to exist in the DCU 20th century.

Yeah, I could see Batman staving off an attack while waiting for someone else to clock Wolverine. Superman could certainly "clip his claws" so to speak.

Unless adamantium is out of this world or magic (which I doubt on both occasions) I see no reason why it would hurt Superman. Still wouldn't matter especially with Supermans super speed.

The only Ace card the X-men have that is hard to counter is Phoenix Force. Which is why the match up might be a little leaned. If its just Jean Grey, the match up would be more fun to work on and script.

I'll be honest and say I've never read a ton of X-men. My niche comic is Green Lantern, anywho - quick question.

During the time where Jean Grey could harness the full power of the Phoenix was she still considered to be "Active" status with the X-men?

Well, the thing you have to remember about Wolverine's claws is that it doesn't matter so much how tough they are, but how sharp they are. A really strong guy hitting Superman over the head with an adimantium pipe would do no more damage than the same guy hitting Superman over the head with a lead pipe. The only difference is that the adimantium pipe won't be damaged either. If Logan's claws are sharp enough, then yeah, he could probably hurt Superman. But I doubt they're sharp enough.

Yes, but like anything else, it would require a force strong enough to penetrate his skin. Even if you hold a sharp object up to your skin with no pressure, it can't hurt you. Wolverine lacks the strength necessary to make his claws effective.

And on another note - could Superman hurt Adamantium?

Probably not, but who knows...Hulk has cracked it before.
