I almost started a Dr. Arkham thread today . . but I guess I'll use this one to propagate my choice instead.

Robin Williams, who delivered one of his best performances in Nolan's Insomnia, would be an awesome Arkham. He can be creepy and maniacal if they use that part of the character, or quiet, withdrawn, and creepy, if they use that aspect.

Way, way too big a name. Especially for what would probably be a minor role anyway.

I'll tell you exactly who should get the role...brad douriff. He's creepy, he's perfect, and he was in a certain movie about a mental institution that also starred the Penguin and the Joker.

Hell yeah they do. I guess you kind of have a point about Freeman Brian2887 but I don't think he's nearly as big of a face as Robin Williams. Also Arkham is supposed to be real old right? James Cromwell or John Hurt are in a more appropriate age range for this character I think.

Cromwell is perfect IMO. He looks exactly like him and is a fantastic actor.

As for Hurt, my main concern with him is that the minute he comes onscreen my mind will immediately jump to this image:
