I don't know if anyone saw the A&E biography of Tim Burton that debut in 2001 around the time Planet of the Apes was released. One of the people interviewed was John Lasseter and I had no idea these two were such good friends. Ever since then I've wanted these two to collaborate on something.

Now that Lasseter is a big shot at Disney and Burton has proven himself with The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride, I think it's time for a collaboration.

What do you guys think?

Why would anyone "bring" Tim Burton anywhere?
He's a has-been and a hack. He hasn't made a good film for....whew, many years.

Id applaud him if he got Tim Burton and his overrated ass away from the directors chair.

Burton used to work for Disney (as an animator) then quit and became a director

Yeah, that's where he met Lasseter and became good friends.

I don't think that anyone brings Tim Burton anywhere. He simply does whatever he wants to do. I'm not exactly the biggest Tim Burton fan in the universe, he's largely style over substance, although I did enjoy the hell out of The Nightmare Before Christmas. He'd be an interesting addition to Disney, but in my opinion, not a necessary one.
