No. What happened?

I can't view the link...

Before Crispin came out, it looked like he was fussing at someone backstage.

He showed up in what looked like platform shoes and he was completely out of it, and the audience was heckling him. Glover challenege Letterman to a fight but he walked off to do the top ten, it was hilarious! I think he may have been acting though.

He was obviously messing around, it was hilarious!

my two cents on Joker actors..

I can't commit to supporting one.

I have to hear the laugh first.

I don't wanna put my vote on someone to be the Joker, only to find out that his Joker Laugh sounds like crap.

maybe I'm just too picky.

Crispin Glover would be quite an interesting Joker.I think he could be the only one to do a better job than Jack Nicholson as the character. And that's what they need.

joker in the batman sequels should just be downright sinister, i am talking like build him around the joker that ruthlessly (sp?) gunned down barbara gordon and thought it was funny, just evil, but you can't loose the purple suit.

I know most of you probably don't know this guy...unless your a hockey fan and I know he isn't and actor... but none the less if you throw makeup on this guy it's almost ridiculously uncanny. His name is Ville Nieminen and he plays for the Calgary Flames.

As I said in another post already, I think Nick Stahl would be the perfect Joker for this series.

And this didn't tip you off that he might be a bad choice? :p

I looked him up and honestly, he doesn't look anything like the Joker, man...

Interesting choice to say the least. The kid is talented, that's for sure. But isn't he a little young to be standing beside Bale? And looks-wise, he's not that much of a ringer for the Joker either, you know... I mean, I don't wanna see him in alltogether too much makeup. :yellow: =/= :joker:

Nick Stahl is a great young actor, one of my favorites, but I don't know if he would be right for the role. I think his take would be interesting, but looks-wise I don't know if he'd be right.

Crispin Glover is perfect.:joker:

Lookswise actually I think he could pull it off actually

Here's a 2 second manip as an example. Only issue I think is that he's about 5 years younger than bale.

Also depends on if they want to push him more as being completely wild child, psycho type or an intentionally deviant yet mad killer, almost serial killer-esque.

If they're going for the wilder, untamed psycho look then Lachy Hulme or Vincent Gallo is the type they should go for.

One idea that hasn't been brought up in quite some time is Matthew Lillard. He was excellent in SLC Punk and looks a lot like the Vincent Cassel manip I've seen going around.

You can NOT be serious... Lillard is one of the WORST actors around. He irritates the hell out of me!

He does tend to take poor roles, but have you seen SLC Punk? He did an excellent performance in that movie.

When I first saw Scream, I thought Lillard would make the perfect Joker, myself. He really is a phenomenal actor. He's just not intimidating anymore, though. He's now associated only as Shaggy, and I don't think it would work from a marketing standpoint . . . unless he does some dark roles in some films before the Batman sequel. I do think he has the chops, though.

He could surprise everyone like Ashton Kutcher did with The Butterfly Effect, although that was largely ignored.

You obviously haven't seen him grinning in a picture then... everyone on the flames website refers to him as the joker cause when he flashes that grin he looks just like the joker

I'd suggest Michael Massee. He played Isaac Hassen in the recen "Revelations" mini-series. Had this maniacal grin and stare in some shots and came across as pure evil.

I don't think many people were surprised by Ashton Kutcher in "Butterfly Effect" . . . I know I wasn't. I didn't really buy him as a supergenius . . . I agree that movie was interesting and underrated, but there was nothing phenomenal about the acting at all.

Someone needs to bring Christohper Eccleston's attention to this project! He was initially being considered for the role of Crane when Cillian Murphy was being considered as Batman. He's got the Joker's build, he's not typecast, and he's a very strong performer. He also has Joker-esque features.

Some very interesting choices here. I've been trying to think of some names that haven't been mentioned yet. Here's two:

Kevin Bacon
John Turturro

As far as the purple suite goes I agree it needs to be there but with blood splatered on it as well as his shoes
