VOTE CRISPIN GLOVER FOR JOKER!

here's a manip i did of crispin glover as the joker, then integrated that into a poster for the sequel. any and all thoughts welcome - thanks!

Scariest thing ever! I like it. Looks really acid-scarred.:joker:

The name I keep hearing is Mark Hamill now. Can someone do a manip of him as Joker? I just wanna see what he would look like. It shouldn't be a pic from Star Wars tho, it should be a pic from the last few years obviously.

I would only accept Mark Hamill as the Joker under these conditions:

1)Apply a technique to his face to get rid of some of his wrinkles (Make him look a few years younger).
2)Apply a prosthetic nose piece and perhaps a prosthetic chin piece.
3)Require him to lose some weight.

Could anyone manip this?

Jude Law would be perfect, just watch his creepy smile in Road to Perdition

If Glover were to do it I'd demand that they film all (if any) of his Batman 3 scenes in advance, because the man is such a pain for directors that I doubt he'd come back for a sequel.

Has anyone seen Sin City? Why isn't Benicio in the running for this? He is awesome as a psyhco. He can also addapt and change his body for any role. Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas he gained weight. He's a theatrical actor. Sin City he had loads of make-up and a fake nose. De Toro is also about the same height and weight as BAle. He is 6'4 the Joker was a tall guy in the comics. Look at a picture of Del Toro and imagine the White make-up and the purple suit. He should be the Joker!!

I knew you'd ask that! I'm not leaning toward anybody in particular but I know the perfect choice is out there.

With all of the "Cast Joker" threads, this one actually asks some new questions. I like that.

I think we should stay away from camp, for the most part. This Joker has to be PURE EVIL. We want people to enjoy the fact that he IS The Clown Prince of Crime. He has to be purely ruthless, his jokes have to be more cruel than cute, and his eyes have to have the look of pure insanity...because that's what Joker is...he's insane.

Yeah, we love to laugh at him sometimes, and there would be moments to do that, but the heart of the character has to be of pure fear & hatred. It's ok to like him, but like him b/c he's evil and likes being evil, that's it.

I think a purple suit is something you can't touch...but I'd like to see a variation. He's always wearing straight purple with green & orange, maybe a bit of light blue. Nicholson's wore plaid, a fashion moment of the era. I'd be more interested in a fitted suit that was maybe black with purple pinstripes, or at least purple with black pinstripes. If the suit is all purple, which I think would be the way to go, as easily explained by the suit losing color dye when he falls in the vat of acid, I think a different color combo may work better, but I'm no fashion major. I just think he wouldn't wear orange and green silk. Nolan's Joker will probably be more realistic than that, don't you think?

As for his origin, I think they'll parallel his to Bruce's, to create the ultimate yin-yang relationship between the two; they're both the same, but made different choices. Burton tried this, but I think he failed. I don't know how Nolan will tell the origin any differently than Burton did, to be quite honest. Let's hear your thoughts.
Actually plaid was no a fashion moment of the era. Plaid had gone out long before the 80's. The 80's suits were about no design, or pin stripes. Plaid was in the 60's, early 70's. Plaid was a joke in the 80's when you saw it as it remindied you of the 60's. I wore a lot of suits in the 80's, and I shopped for them quite a bit. Not a plaid suit to be found. And thank god for that.

It takes Batman a year to find Joker?

Did you read the rest of my post?

They should be in constant battle throughout that year. You know, like Batman & Joker usually are? Catching him now and again, Joker escaping from Arkham each time. Foiling various plots. The details are irrelevant, the point is the rivalry should be established.

the guy from willard is a pretty good choice crispin glover for ThE JokER'

Can't find the Bat sequel manip thread (if there is one). I didn't really have much to work with for the joker as theres no Lachy photos online and I don't own any matrix sequels.
