That is a nice wig mate!

Pennyworth....Magnoli, Magnoli, Magnoli. :p ;) I want to order mine so badly it not even funny....

Pretty much the only other pant option would be to dye your own. It is really tough to find a purple pinstripe in wool. If at all.

The utopia shirt you could get by with on a budget. Its not accurate in regards to the pattern and color but the general public doesn't have a clue.

The original tie was made by Turnbull and Asser. Long sold out I would imagine. They ran about $175 I think. I got in on the first run :woot:
Magnoli's tie is the only other option. Its only like 60 or 70 bucks I think and is dead on to how the tie looks on screen. The T&A one is more green colored in person.

Thanks williamsdr. Indeed purple wool pinstripe is a rarity out there, however, I think purple maybe a big color this fall cause I'm seeing a bunch of places selling purple pants recently. None of them real close to Joker style, but still.

The Utopia shirt is probably the way I'll go just to save cash, and you're right, the rest of the world wouldn't know the difference.

As for the tie, I'll keep looking, but the Magnoli tie is probably the way I'll go.

Tell me about it Jodo, their stuff looks sooooo nice. Too bad I don't have the $1,825 to buy the complete costume! :D :hoboj: :cwink:

Well, I've bought a few pairs of pants to dye, and it's realy hit and miss. Some dye ok, some don't take at all. If you check out your local Goodwills, etc. you may be able to find white pin stripe pants. If you can find something with synthetic pinstripes, it will work best, because the dye won't take to them. But sometimes the fabric won't take either, LOL. So if you do dye your own pants, dont be suprised if it doesn't come out perfect the first time. :)

"Thoughts of death while trying to dye."

for dying trousers, i've always used dylon. depending on which shop i get it from, it can be anything from £5 upwards. this is the machine dye i'm talking about. takes a couple of hours and next to no effort (which is a bonus) here's the website if anyone wants a look.

that's the colour i used for my trousers that were light grey to begin with. the hand dyes are pretty usless though...

I've tried a few combinations of red/blue and purple/red/blue, the dyes always look realy good, and alot like the shade I was going for, but the dye just won't take to the pants. I dyed my gloves the same way, they started out as white leather gloves, I dyed them for a few days in the purple, they came out extremly dark, and then they ended up a lighter purple. Oddly enough, where I've had contact with my face (while in make-up... moving my hair...." Why helloooooo beautiful." ) they appear darker. Like on the finger tips and on the sides of them.

So it gave I've gave them some nice weather spots. I don't know if there's something in the make-up that made them darker, like an oil or whatever. But I'm considering doing it all over to make them darker in general. So mabey then they won't show up as dark in photos. I want to buy the Magnoli ones either way so I'll have longer gloves, but they'd do a budget Joker realy good. They have the similar darker spots like you can see in some of the WB promo shots come to think of it....
