I definitely agree...the make-up looks spot-on.
HeY!, NoT ToO LaTe To JoIn In ThE FuN?
Thanks dude i actually needed thatSPIDERMAN117 Sharpies were violet, I stopped using them half way through 'cause I realized that just the smallest amount of moisture on the shirt and the colours ran. I switched to fabric pens, which when ironed after application set and can be washed.
As for the Hexagonal design I just went with what seemed to fit best, but as you asked I measured them. They are 1" x 1 1/2".
I didn't make the waistcoat but I did change the colour. It was originally a dark khaki colour. I used fabric paint and brushed it on. This stuff also sets after being ironed so it can be washed. It was actually too light, I've since darkened it.
The Make up was just some Snazaroo water-based I had around. After using them I've decided I'm going to use grease. You can tell from Pics of Heaths' Joker that that is what has been used.
The water based just looks too transluscent. And the red is far too light.
Well I hope thats bored the pants off most of you!
even added the unbuttoned button on the vest. very nice.Hey!
Thanks for all your kind words on my costume so far.
Bit of an update, I darkened the waistcoat and finished the shirt.
