The wig really isn't bad when you use some mousse and pomade.
How's is there trick or treating already going on in everyone's neighborhood or these Halloween events?
I haven't heard of anything like this in Chicago yet (West suburbs at least)? I wanna go and freak people out Joker style.
Btw, what are you guys printing out your joker cards on?
Thank you!Great finds and great costume.
Btw, has anyone ever told you that you could totally pull off Sylar from 'Heroes'?
No, but that's the part that frustrates me most about the outfit. It zips up all the way, but the fabric is really loose right there. Oh well.Is your fly undone?
Yep!i got that same tie! from wal-mart?

Two more very important tips. When you apply a layer of latex, let it dry completely before you touch it or else it will be gummy and wherever you touched it will stick to your finger and ruin it. This takes a LOT of patience. To make the scars with liquid latex find some good pictures to work from.
Next gets some modeling clay and using your reference pictures mold the joker scars.
After that its time for some liquid latex and toilet paper.
apply a thin coat of liquid latex to your scar mold followed by a layer of toilet paper. Make sure you get the toilet paper in all the cracks and crevices so you don't lose definition in your scars. allow this to dry then apply another coat of liquid latex and toilet paper. The toilet paper is used to add strength to the prosthetic.
if you are satisfied with the amount of toilet paper apply a few more coats of liquid latex allowing each one to dry in between. make sure all your edges of the scars are a bit thinner to make blending easier later.
after its all good and dry CAREFULLY peel the scar off of the clay and trim it up as needed to fit your face.
Attach the scars with spirit gum then use some liquid latex to blend your skin and the scars together
Hey Jokers...
I have been lurking this thread for awhile now. I have been constructing my joker costume for a couple of months now. I had almost every piece custom made. The only found cloth item is the blue blazer. The tie is one of the older zazzle ties, but I mean to replace that soon. Let me know what you think.
(I'll have full makeup shots to share soon...)

Nothing on me other then the socks, shoes and chain will be used in the final product but the bell bottoms made me lol all day...Disco feva!
everyone is laid back in my town..the biker cops chased me a few times and one of the patrol cars turned there sirens on behind me once, scared the crap outta me.
But the kids enjoyed it. Gave out what little cards I had and got mauled by a bunch of them...mainly hugs to the legs XD
we have a coffee house on the corner of main st where the parade was...around lunch when it was full I literally jumped trough the doorway and did the whole "Good Evening ladies and Gentlemen" line. I never saw such mixture of emotion in a room: laughter, smiles, shock, and pure unadulterated fear
we hung out at the bank, the police station and this wide alleyway, and kids and parents would come up and asks for pics

And the other is that when you're done and the scars are dry still on the clay, throw some baby powder on. If you don't, when you peel them off the crevaces will stick to eachother and you'll end up ripping the prosthetics getting them apart.

Dude...seriously I don't really know how to describe this but based on the way you wear the costume and the way it fits you (obviously we can't count the face since we don't see it) you ARE the best Joker in this thread. It just hangs perfectly. Looks exactly like Heath's costume and the same way he wore it.
