Joker Costume for Halloween

Anyone doing anything for the DVD release? We only have stupid Wal-Mart around here, so I don't have much choice to do anything. I thought about mabey wearing my Bank Heist outfit out there. The guy that works at WM that likes the Joker has already seen my suit at Halloween...Or no...Mabey I won't do anything. They just don't appreciate doing anything like that. So I guess I won't. Frakkin' stupid town!

I was going to hang out at the Borders in one of the local malls, but even though the store manager said it was ok, the higher ups at the mall said no because it would cause too much of a disturbance. WTF??!! The mall isn't that happening of a place on a Tuesday night. Bah. Maybe I might just see if there are any big lines forming at Best Buy or something the night the movie gets released and hang out with the crowd there. However, if Dark Knight gets re-released somewhere close to me in Jan, you can bet your arse I'll be showing up on it's debut night!

Also, check this pic. out, about half way down the page. The nurse outfit one. Thats preety darn awsome to know they filmed that. Looks like two words on the name tag as well. Mabey it says Mr./Mrs. Matilda or something. I want to know so bad! :

EDIT - OMG, I forgot! Today I saw my aunt, which I only see one or two time a year. She's not very active as far as public outtings go. Only to see to her animals, to vote, and sometimes the store. But she LOVES Heath Ledger. So I printed my pics. out of me/Heath. When she came in from her 4 hour trip down, told us about the trip,etc. I got a chance to ask her if she liked Heath Ledger. She said "YES! You know I even went to see The Dark Knight!" I about crapped my pants. I couldn't beleive she has went to the movies, let alone to see TDK. So I actualy got excited to finaly meet someone, let alone in my family which whatched the movie. I handed her three pics on 9X11 sheets of paper. The top on is Heath.
"Oh yeah!"
*she flips to the next one*
"Ya, I realy like Heath! Are these mine-or what?"
"That one in your hand...Thats me."
*looks at the picture some more...*flips back and forth*
"Thats you!?! Oh my God! I-Thats not you*

Usualy I get the "Oh ya, thats nice." comments...This made my day. I think she was seriously suprised to see me as the Joker, and she realy thought I looked like Heath. So it sorta made me day. She couldn't stop looking at them, and then she looked at the pic. of my family as the henchmen, and she died laughing. It was preety cool to see her get so excited about it. I still can't beleive she was at the movies to see TDK!

I can see why evryone thought they were black socks, but those are deffintly the same socks as he wears with the suit. t: Just one less thing to track down for me. Now just to get a cleared shot of the name tag. I'm going with "Mr/Mrs Matilda" if it did infact say Matilda on it.

So now I can't wait for the fabric even more! They look like little blue four hole buttons to me, just like the HT shirt's buttons.

That sucks! Here a couple months ago, about an hour away from here, the SW people I know, who dressed up for the 31st as Batman, Jedi, Vader, Leia,etc. They kept getting shut down by the pee-on security guy when they went into the mall down there a week or two before Halloween, and another time about a month before that. So I couldn't imagine what he'd do if The Joker showed up for the DVD release. (I know he wouldn't shoot me, because he can't carry a gun.)

I think the securty guy told them "Its to close to 9/11."

OK so today I packed up my coat and vest and went off into the unknown to find a seamstress.
I'd located a dressmakers place online called Taffeta and Lace that apparantly did alterations, but when I got there (following the advice of google maps WITHOUT getting lost for once) it wasn't a store at all, there was just this...sort of creepy tumbledown house with broken windows and an overgrown garden containing an empty bird cage.

I didn't even try knocking.

I've found a new place to try but this time I'm CALLING first.

And my sister finally got back from our Dad's place and she's gonna upload my latest makeup test pics tonight.

I decided not to go for extreme screen accuracy, and got some good clothes instead that I thought worked well.

But the shirt is blue, it's just hard to tell after the photoshops.

Its actualy white, with blue patterns.

Does anyone have a shot of the smoke grenade in the Bank Manager's mouth/in the Joker's hand? I thought I had a screen cap, but can't find it. Or also, a shot of them in the blue duffle. I have one, but not one clear enough.

I could also use the 1/6th scale Bank Heist figure as well. (I'll find those pics. here shortly), but I don't know if I trust them enough. LOL.

The HT Joker's release grenades, which are diffrent from the pre-pro figure ones. The relase ones, which I won't post, becase it isn't my photo, shows the grenades are an OD green, with red on the the top, and no insignia saying what type of grenade they are, more like the one in Mahone's mouth.

So....Mabey I'll do the 3 that are in the bag, and the one in Mahone's mouth with the string coming from my butt...But if anyone still has any other pics. of the bag open showing the grenades, I'd greatly appreciate it. My only pic. sucks, and I have a hunch the Hot Toys version isn't correct. I'm basing this on the fact that this out of focus pic. shows a possible diffrent arrangment -

And in the same pic., the grenade in this guy's hand isn't the same as the HT Figure's ones. -

Were did you get your nurse belt at? Or did you make it? I know some people bought theirs from UK suppliers, but some only shipped within the UK. But if you had a source, you know...I want to know.

I just need some pics. of the bag, its contense, and the "foam holder" thing for the grenades. I'd greatly appreciate it. t:

Speaking of the duffle, I've been looking for one and can't find one, localy or on the interwebs. I found a dark blue one at a store about an hour away, but it didn't have a price tag on it, so they couldn't say one way or the other. I also found a place that sold ones like the Joker's, but in frakkin' bulk.
