I just wanted to know who planned on checking this out. I'm pretty excited for but I'm just a Joker fanboy since I was a young one.

I've heard that DC is just trying to cash in on the Joker's popularity now because of The Dark Knight but I doubt it seeing as the Joker is one of the fundamental characters of the DCU.

Just wanted to hear your thoughts on it.

Yes, DC is very much cashing in on the popularity of the Joker because of the Dark Knight. He is also one of the fundamental characters of the DCU, which means they're always cashing in on his popularity.

None of that means that his stories aren't great. Usually, I find that they are. On the other hand, sometimes you get the Last Laugh crossover, and that wasn't so great.

I'm gonna check out the GN.

I would love to get this but with the budget, I can't afford any hardcovers. I really enjoyed LL:MoS though, especially the art. I think it's shame it's not called Joker: The Dark Knight. Maybe it'll pull a Rucka and get renamed in the future.

I'll be checking it out for the Two-Face appearance.

I'm sold on this. I absolutely loved Lex Luthor Man of Steel, and this promises to be more of the same kind of villainy goodness.

Plus, seeing how grusome Azzarazzozzozoo was in 100 bullets, this is going to be brutal.

This is going to be so, so, awesome. Can not wait.

I'm getting this, fo sho.

"Not since THE KILLING JOKE have you seen such a powerful tale of The Joker – you won't want to miss this one!"

I doubt it will be like TKJ, but looks interesting... Hope we´ll see it soon in Spain!

I´d like to see some pages, the Lee Bermejo´s art I saw was illustrations or covers, not comic pages...

I'm all over this! :hoboj:

Azzzzzzzzzzzzzzrazzzzzzzzzilo announed this ages ago - just after Lex Luthor Man of Steel. And it looks like it is going to be as good as that.

Looks preety solid. I like that he looks sorta like Heaths Joker. However I do not like the take on Riddler.

Haha yeah. Riddler is like a cross between Elton John and Dr. House.

Good read, bit over-hyped.

I didn't really care for it. Might be overhyped or maybe just failed in comparison to Luthor. Why would the Joker ever cry?

This was a story about Joker and Gotham. I really think it was a cop-out to have batman show up at the end and end the story suddenly, as if they didnt have the gaul to tell a Joker story w/o batman in it. Kind of a shame.

I didn't really get the appeal of the story.

I'm glad I bought it, but overall, Lex Luthor: Man of Steel was the much better read. That one gave a pretty unique take on what had been a fairly bland villain. Joker just gives us a guy we already know and has him do increasingly unpleasant things in a slightly more unpleasant Gotham than usual.

I did like the idea of Two-Face hiring off-duty cops as his enforcers. Makes sense that he'd still be able to command a fair amount of their loyalty.

TEOL If anything, the new Riddler reminds me of Raoul Duke from Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. :oldrazz:
