My biggest problem with the Joker in this comic was his sexuality... I just find that to be lowbrow and beneath the character... But that's just me

In what particular sense? For the Joker renditions that revel in the gruesome and twisted nature of the human condition, using sex as a tool to humiliate and violate is more than fitting.

Bermejo is bringing out another Batman book, maybe for Christmas

This Christmas seems like a stretch. Surely we would've seen much more of this project if it were coming soon. In any case I'm looking forward to more from this team.
