Bruce, look in the New Joker Picture Text (6/13/08), that's where all the deduction was deduced...

Yeah, to summarize...

Joker phone people got picture texts in 3 groups. The first group was weird pictures that seemed to have no commonality. I suggested that "Mexican Train" was a dominoes game, and then someone else looked up dominoes games and found that all the pictures corresponded to different games with Dominoes (e.g., Matador, Flower and Scorpion, etc.).

The second group involved words, people figuring out that the words all used the same letters, which could spell commercial.

The third group was a common denominator fraction sequence, with the only one missing 6/16 (the date).

Nothing else seems to have presented itself, although I think we'll get something small at least for the weekend. I think a game will be tied in along with the promotion- just batman pizza from Domino's is not going to be it, but they have developed a backstory for the GOtham City Pizza owner (see the CFB forums).

Now we wait- I hope for the hahahatimes. I hope some other games go on this weekend that at least lead to a countdown until Monday.

I saw something weird. There were repeating pictures in Group 3. I received the 18/48 picture and saw on the Group 3 thread on this site that another person in my group that also got the same pic as I did is also from San Diego.

Hey, hey, I don't know why everyone thinks I'm disappointed. I played this game and it was fun. I have no qualms with it except that it doesn't seem like the Joker.

Yes, I will be watching, and yes, I do believe that it will lead to something else.

In teh pizza thread someone posted pics of the pizza boxes. The top flap has instructions on how to use the DK vault. Criminals must wait outside. Must have mystery code to enter. Never reveal your mystery code. Do not feed the bats.

Maybe there is a new joker site with another vault in it. And a puzzle maybe involving waiting 30 minutes?

Why would the Joker send us a puzzle that just ended in information we were able to find from the Gotham Times, and subsequently from gothamcitypizzeria.com? The only thing I can think of is that they want to reinforce the importance of the pizza deal.... does that make sense?

Yes, that's the strange part of this whole thing. The Joker telling us to buy pizzas that come in special Batman-related boxes? C'mon, that's not a game, it's only marketing. And they've been doing marketing through the games, not the other way round.

I know this may sound synical but i think the only reason they really sent out this puzzle on Friday was to try to distract us from going to the Hulk movie. Now, Im not saying thats the only reason and I certainly am not complaining, but this seems like the only reason we would be told earlier there would be a puzzle and then we get a pretty simple one which took very little time to figure out that only tells us to wait for something we already knew was comming. Still, excited for Monday.

Actually, the game was over so quickly, I went out afterward and saw the Hulk. Also, the last viral started in a same way, where we got clues/website on Friday, and the actual event was on Monday.

That's why I don't mind having to wait when there is a specific date for something to happen. I feel more confortable when they have a game that lead us to a date rather than no games or clue at all, like what happened after the 'it's all part of the plan' game. Gosh, no updates for over a month was a difficult time to handle!

I hope there is more to the game tomorrow then just something with the pizzas. it should have more to it. Like the Joker having a site that we would have to solve some stuff. That would then lead to some goodies. And when its around dinner time for most of us, we would have to order pizzas. and then it would start another game up that night.

I believe there is no 3:45 part anymore. 3:45 was a possibility based on the fractions received by one of the groups last Friday on the Joker phones. The fractions (3/8, 9/24, 12/32 ans so on) all resulted 0.375, which made some believe that it could reveal a time - 3:45 in this case. But, since the only fraction missing was 6/16 and since the clues from the other groups (and from the Gotham Pizzeria site itself) revealed to be pizza-related, the 3:45 possibility became less likely.

well, when som people received the fraction pictures they concluded that if you add all of them up it comes out to .375
and someone mentioned something like the 75 part on a clock is 35, hence 3:45

I doubt the timing has anything to do with the Hulk as much as it has to do with Get Smart. Get Smart (6/20) is the last WB-produced film before TDK, so it would stand to reason that 42e would want to begin the virals Monday to give themselves the full work week (because very little goes down on the weekends) before Friday.

I just went to the website for the gotham pizzaria, today (6/16) they are giving away, and delivering, a set number of free pizzas in certian cities on the east coast (there is a map and it lets you know whether or not there are still pizzas left for your area. the best part is they will even deliver them free. I don't know if there is a special box or anything, but I'm willing to bet there is a special "Gotham pizzaria" logo on it. BTW it is sponsered by Domino's pizza.

other than that there is probably no other hidden meanings in those clues.

So, these texts were a complete waste of time and energy? I mean, it took one look on the gothamcitypizzeria site to figure out that, on June 16th, something was going to happen. Did 42E just wast time, money, and effort with the texts?
