I was just wondering if anyone has managed to master Joker's voice at all, or is at least trying to?

Ive been getting pretty good at the Ledger Joker voice, I would like to record it and put it on here to see what other people think about it, Ive been practicing for months.

I remember talking about this with my friends opening nihgt, we had just sat down in the theater and I was like " I bet all of these people have their own variation on the Heath Ledger Joker voice" heh, so we all started talking like him, haha, others joined in shortly. It was ****ing strange and REALLY funny. X)

I've been able to do Ledger's Joker voice since the teaser; I really don't find it to hard. The tricky part is going to extreme ranges with it. I can do the higher pitches and low harsh tone (LOOK AT ME), and I can do the WSS line pretty good now. My only problem is the laugh: mines is good, close to his, but not exact. Its the only thing that needs work.

haha, yeah, his voice can be bouncy and musical, and then all of a sudden, cut the ****, "GGGGGGGGGGGRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

I thought Heath had a very Mark Hamill-esque bounce to his voice in the movie when he brakes the airways and tells everyone to kill Mr.reese or he blows up a hospital.

My brother has Batman's voice down though! he sounds pretty f'n awesome

i've got ledger's joker down pretty well, but it's always a work in progress, since i always feel like i can add more. basically, i just listened to the trailers and every clip i could find with the joker and practiced over and over again.

my favorite place to practice is in my car, so i tend to get a lot of weird looks from people because i'm driving down the highway laughing my ass off.

of course, none of this means anything without some proof to back it up, so i'll try to post a vid up here soon so you can judge for yourself.

I personally...I feel like I can do a pretty good Heath-Joker voice...Since I'm still pretty young...I can't reach the lower raspy part like the "Let's put a smile on that face!" or his laugh...Normal lines though...I think I can do pretty well!

I'm trying to learn Hedger Joker's voice, but my voice is kind of low and deep so the laugh maybe my toughest part.

Everyone wanting to do the Jokers voice will be the new "borat" or "cartman", meaning that you only want to hear the original voice and not millions of imitations. The imitations may be decent, but they're all annoying.

i cant help but laugh at all the people going omg i can do heaths voice sooo well! and omg i can do the jokers voice. as tyler said, you guys are going to be the people everyone looks at in the street and think are idiots when you try and do his voice and be cool with your friends like those cartman and borat wannabes

by the way because you think you can do his voice it will more than likely mean you cant, you hear your voice different compared to other people its a known fact

i understand you and TylerHaslett think it's lame that people try to do these impersonations, and i agree that nothing can beat the original, but it seems kind of unnecessary and rude to say imitators are annoying, idiots, wannabes, etc. especially when it's on a thread specifically about joker impersonations. i respect your opinion, but if you don't like impersonators then please keep it to yourself or discuss it elsewhere.

and you're right that you hear your own voice differently when you're speaking, but if you record your voice and listen to it you will hear it more accurately. it also helps to ask your friends for critiques.
