Its obviously a pocket watch.

And as far as the punk rock street look...I doubt theyre going for a tacky hot topic "punk" its actually the opposite of it. If a guy is filthy but hes still wearing a suit and a pocket watch with make up smeared all over his face with yellow teeth...thats more punk. especially when hes setting everything on fire and shooting guns and slitting peoples faces over.

I hope to see some "joke" weapons, but nothing like "oh, ha ha, who expected a bang! flag to come out of the gun." More along the lines of his switchblade, but w/ a disengaged lock mechanism so the blade flies out of the handle. Or even a gun that's loaded with a blank or two to give the target a false sense of security. I guess, more of like "Gotcha! You're dead!" type of weapon. Things even the audience won't see coming.

Cupid clones are abundant over the internet. Problem is that otf's are illegal for civilians in most states. Getting one depends on who you're buying it from and if they're willing to sell it to you. Alot of times they're sold as "kits", with the knife coming spring-less so it's technically a gravity knife, and the spring is sold separately. Either way, if you find someone who'll sell it to you, it's not the type of thing you want to be carrying on your person unless you got a badge or are on active duty in the military, and even that's just a generalization, I'm sure it's more complicated than that. I'm a civilian and have been looking to get one myself, but all the cheap ones I've come across have been serrated, the Joker's isn't.

If you're actually looking to use the knife for defense purposes, then yeah go for the original Dalton if you have the money, it's a more than solid knife. But I think the price tag is out of budget for most people looking for a knife just because the Joker has it. Besides, I'm willing to bet the knives in the movie ARE clones. Judging from what we've seen, the Joker uses nothing but cheap steak knives and the like as opposed to anything fancy. One of the leaked pictures that we're not allowed to post on here even seems to suggest that he has more than one Cupid, perhaps treating them as disposables.
And maybe it's just me, but I only carry a knife around for two reasons: as an everyday utility, and God-forbid, as a last means of defense should I ever need it. An otf would kind of be overkill as a utility knife, and if I'd ever used it in self-defense, that leaves me with having to explain why I had it on me in the first place, when a folding or assisted knife would be sufficient. Then again, I never walk around with weed or coke in my pockets either. To each their own.

yea i guess he does have spares, nothing really expensive he carries. i have 4 of the cupids. but i carry two otf[one cupid obviously], a stiletto, and a butterfly with me wherever i go.

What is so creepy about it? People are curious about the weapons he uses big deal it is just a movie. Although there is more talk about the guns he uses I would be interested in seeing the types of knives he had. Were they just regular knives or anything like special throwing knives? i think he just uses otf's, spring assisted, and i think i might have seen a stiletto in the shot of trl2 where they have his knives all laid out
