chipmunks? Well yeah that looks pretty bad but so many shows like this are turned into ******ed live action versions these days, it's not giving me any hope at all for this one.

Scooby doo for instance... what a waste of a fine opportunity to capture the basic premise of the series and they botched it in favor of forgettable mtv crap. The show is about spooky atmosphere and 70s music, that's it! The fact there's a talking dog doesn't matter... just roll with it, it's a cartoon. That's all they needed to do but they had to insert farts and stuff. good grief. Don't even get me started on garfield.

I want this to be good but all signs point to this being another raping of the childhood memories for a lot of innocent folks in the world.

My number one rule is: make this a period piece! Johnny Quest is in the same kinda universe as Indiana Jones, it´s about finding exotic lands in remote locations of the world, it´s about that sense of discovery that´s from that age, the thirties, forties.

that's actually a good request... but I'm a bit worried that's not what they're going to do

either way, I'm way excited for this!! everyone else has their own cartoons from when they were kids (like TMNT, Transformers, GI Joe, whatever), but for me it's Jonny Quest that I want to see made into a film more than anything and finally, woohoo!!

let's just hope this is as epic and entertaining as the Pirates franchise...! t:
