Jordan Peele’’s 'Us'

So who else is dressing up as the duplicates for Halloween?

My jumpsuit and sandals are on the way. Just in time for the local Con that's coming up next weekend. I just need to make the scissors, no one is going to let a little black woman run around with metal scissors while talking about shadows and eating raw rabbits. :smgs:

I LOVED Get Out which is one of my fave films of 2017! Jordan Peele seems promising but this one was a let down compared to Get Out.

It has a nice premise and fine performances with nice suspense but the reveal and twist ending was silly as hell and a letdown. Get Out ended perfectly as it had a satisfying ending while this one didn't, it felt silly as hell.

Finally watching this right now. Winston Duke is killing me. So good. :funny:

Awesome! Enjoyed Us far more than Get Out.

Just watched this. I highly enjoyed it because of Peele's direction, Nyong'o's amazing performance, Duke was hilarious etc. I do have problems with some of the internal logic within the story, which (as many mentioned above) would be less of a problem if we didn't get some exposition in the third act.

It's easier to disregard stuff in horror flicks when it isn't somewhat explained even though with vagueness. OTOH, without the exposition/explaining I might've just scratched my head and searched for YT-videos/sites explaining the stuff, who knows lol?

I'd also loved to see more of evil Moss, she had way too short screen time here IMHO.

Still, a good movie and I will do a rewatch to catch stuff I missed the first time. Now looking forward to Nope!
