I personally think Katrina Florece looks cooler. But eh, can't complain.

Kea Wong's pretty awesome too. At least they got someone who's actually ASIAN. hahaha. I love her earrings too >< (in the first & second pic)

KEA WONG i LOVE!....innocent sweet...JUBILEE!

katrina florece looks to *****y and mean....thank god they changed her

do you think they'll call her jubilee in this one? for that matter will kitty be referred to as shadowcat?

Jubilee - probably (as Jubilee is just shortening of her combined name)

Kitty - not normally - maybe in one or two scenes just to give a nod to the comics

Storm called her Jubilee in the last two movies... there isn't any reason why she wouldn't have her name mentioned again... especially if it gives Halle another line to hog:O
its really unfortunate how Jubes got screwed over when it came to screentime... if her museum scene wasn't cut, she'd have been a bigger part than Colossus, Siryn, and Kitty's parts combined... and then be prime choice for a big part in X3.
I guess at least we know she's in the third film... Ratner said that the returning X-Kids each got something cool to do.

You know, deep down, I'm kinda glad that they deleted her museum scene, since they didn't do the best job of transferring her powers to the screen. And thank GOD they cut her scene from the mansion invasion.

Mmmehh. I don't agree with you; except for the part on "they didn't do the best job of transferring her powers to the screen."

You'd be agreeing more with me if you knew what they'd have had her do during the mansion invasion. Apparently, a soldier would have come across her, fired a taser at her, the blast of which she would have absorbed, and then shot right back at him. They would have ruined her movie powers permanently and basically turned her into Surge.

Okay; I'll have to see that for myself, in the meantime ...

You changed my mind anyway.

I guess they were trying a bit too hard to make her powers more interesting and realistic...

Colorful explosions isn't too hard to pull off and it seems pretty realistic to me. Its a low-key, believable power. More interesting than yet more generic lightning.

I guess they just messed up.

Does anyone find it strange that the writers over on the XVerse are ridiculously reluctant to talk about Jubilee et al. It makes me wonder why they're so keen to keep their roles under wraps. Hopefully they get to do something of interest.

Something interesting on uncannyxmen.net

http://uncannyxmen.net/db/spotlight/showquestion.asp?faq=10&fldAuto=99

It says that Jubilee "creates disorienting bursts of light and sound, scalding heat, concussive impact, or interweave the "PAF" energies into solid objects to cause violent explosions at the molecular level"

If you read the comic bio they have it hints that she doesn't really use her powers to there full potential. Does t6his imply she can cause Nuclear Explosions ("cause violent explosions at the molecular level"). Whether she is spliting atoms, I don't know. Would be cool if she could.

Yea, supposedly she splits atoms. But the day I see Jubilee causing nuclear explosions will be the day I stop reading about her. I like her for what she is.

I just mean that if she could split atoms, maybe they can power her up just a tad in the movie so she can hold her own.

Has no comic ever explored Jubilee's true potential? It seems strange to mention it but never explore it.

Jubilee could very well be quite a powerful mutant, I'm not gonna say near Omega status, but I think if she was to really let go, she might be able to destroy a Sentinel easily.

odd indeed.

Lots of mutants have potential that hasn't been explored.

I think powering up Jubilee in a big way would kind of defeat the purpose of the character. I liked her last miniseries, for example. If she had nucular powers it wouldn't have worked.

But anyway, she's depowered now.

I'm so glad that they replaced Katrina Florece with Kea Wong. Katrina Florece is no Jubilee. :down

I really hope she has AT LEAST ONE, JUST ONE, IF NOT MANY, FIGHTING SCENE!!!

Oh, I liked her as Jubilee. But Kea Wong is awesome too. :)
